Service was basically nonexistent on a Wednesday on June at lunch. We were promptly seated in the room in the back. Our server was prompt and friendly when she took our orders. But, she never returned to ask if we needed anything even though she was taking orders at nearby tables while we were eating. I called to her to ask for a tea refill as she was leaving another table after taking their orders. She did promptly bring a refill. After that, she never bothered to stop by again. She didn’t bring a bill. So, we didn’t know if we should wait for her to bring it or go to the register. We finally decided to go to the register. To get to go teas, we had to walk into the main dining area to find our server to ask. I had a 3 vegetable plate…the potato salad was good, the steamed cabbage was a little bland and the pintos were ok.The cornbread was delicious! I felt the serving sizes were small compared to similar restaurants I have eaten at. If I return, I would try something other than their vegetables and would hope for better service.
