Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
One of the driest burgers I have had in a long time. The long lines will surely dissipate sooner than later once everyone realizes the lackluster experience provided here. My girlfriend couldn't even finish her burger because it was so bland and overcooked. The staff is also quite incompetent. I received two sprites at the window, when I had actually ordered a sprite and a coke. I mentioned this, and the young worker says " well your receipt here shows you ordered two sprites." Why try to fight me on what I'm literally telling you I ordered? Clearly the person taking the order previously, got my order wrong. There is no sense of taking accountability for making mistakes. Absolutely terrible experience. Please save your time and go to the nearby Char Grill if you want a burger. Night and day difference in taste, and no line!

John is the coolest effective director an eatery can have. After clarifying a review which nearly deterred me from trying the first Whataburger I've seen on the East Coast since over a decade ago in Texas, my experience couldn't be any better. Polite staff such as John's co-manager who I forgot to identify, and Ashlyn who accommodated my order, despite some rude customers prior to my encounter. I only eat fast food once a year (Chick-fil-A), so exceptional Wake Forest has been. Try the banana milkshake while it lasts...

Boy things changed quickly after all the grand opening we waited behind employees talking and eating in line we were the only customers in the restaurant after we got our food the employees were standing in front of the drink machine again eating a talking when we had to reach around them for ice all they could say is (My Bad) and if the restaurant isn't going to put condiments out for customers then they should do what they did for the grand opening serve it to the customer....Very DISAPPOINTED WITH HOW FAST THE SERVICE HAS DECLINED

I was asked to leave this Whataburger location. I was escorted out in a prejudiced manner, but I was cooperative. Apparently, my friendly and respectful comments made the cashier feel uncomfortable. Thankfully, the situation didn’t escalate, and I spoke with a manager. The manager even mentioned that there have been similar complaints. I believe it might have been a misunderstanding due to a social or cultural difference. Prejudice behavior is not acceptable. The dude that escorted me out stared me down as I was walking to my car and driving out of the parking lot. Completely harmless, I was dining in and being friendly. Perception can be the biggest barrier in social interactions. Just posting this for awareness.

Ok so before i decided to write this review i wanted to make sure i wasn't crazy and being picky so i went a 2nd time. Let me tell you all now, this place doesn't deliver on anything.
Lets start with the basics. Service 2 lines inside and 2 drive through lanes outside, both have 0 organized work flow. A person is running inside and out trying to get payments in the 2nd drive through cause there isn't a 2 window system. Look guys, chick fila has a 2 lane system and it works perfectly, they come no where close. The wait in drive through was terrible.
Next inside, just as bad. Go inside and one of the cashiers leaves the area and no replacement.... gone for minutes and then finally the one cashiers goes back and forth cause a the other girl had ro use restroom. Ok, bathroom breaks happen but have people ready to step in and help, nothing.
Now the food, probably what u wanna hear about, it sucks plan and simple. The bun is a soggy mess, the fries dont even taste good. I just dont know what else to say here other then this is the most mediocre 15 dollar burger meal i have ever had in my life. And lets not got started on the "craft lemonade" it taste like 1 bottle of water with a splash of lemon juice, its terrible.
I dont know what else to say here folks, save the time, the money, and the stomach pains and skip this place.
