  What a great experience at Wayback Burger in Wake Forest. The staff was friendly, restaurant was clean and gave the appeal of an upscale fast food restaurant. Food was amazing. Will definite a repeat customer. Anyone in the heritage area should visit…frequently.

  We visited this restaurant for the first time and had a great experience. The burgers were excellent fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. We tried the fries and the chicken burger, chicken nugget and their sauces were absolutely delicious. The quality of the food was great, and the service was exceptional.

  We just moved out here and looking for good food so I’m happy we found this place. The food is very good here, it’s clean in the bathrooms (which is a good sign) and in the store. Jatin served us and he was very nice and patient with us this was our first time here and he got everything right, we sat inside to eat and he brought us our food which is amazing and a lot of establishments don’t do this. I got the chili cheese fries (super good), and I couldn’t decide between the double bacon or the bourbon bacon burger so I just got the bourbon sauce on the side. It taste like a fancy Dijon mustard it’s good and I got onion rings on the side which is also good. I got the double bacon burger super good !! Everything is good that we had. Milkshakes are good as well we got the banana cream pie which taste like a frozen banana pudding desert, and the chocolate brownie which I’m not a fan of chocolate but my bestfriend loves it. We spent a little over $60 and it was 3 of us so about $20 for each person not bad. Overall again everything is good 10/10 recommend !

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wayback Burgers on Forestville Road has been one of our family’s favorite places to eat ever since they opened, and after years of visiting, I can honestly say they’ve never disappointed us. The staff is always incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely appreciative of every customer. It’s refreshing to walk into a restaurant where you’re greeted with a smile and treated with such consistent respect and friendliness every single visit. The food is outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and consistently delicious. Whether we’re stopping in for burgers, fries, or shakes, everything is prepared with care and always tastes great. The restaurant is also exceptionally clean, which says a lot about the pride the team takes in their work. It’s a comfortable place to bring the whole family, and we always leave happy. In a world where great customer service can be hard to find, Wayback Burgers continues to deliver an outstanding dining experience every time. Consistency matters, and this team has mastered it. We’re grateful to have such a fantastic local restaurant in our community and look forward to many more visits. If you’re looking for great food served by even better people, this is the place to go!

  Really appreciate the chat with manager. We will visit again. Thanks for the great service and care. The food tastes good. Composition of the burger varies. Owning to the date, the noise level was likely much higher than the norm. I ordered the Carolina, which included coleslaw and chili, both of which moistened the bun to the point where it collapsed when I picked it up. Perhaps toasting the bun would help with its survivability. The fries were perfectly seasoned and not overly greasy. They had a nice crispy outside and the salt didn't fall off easily. The prices were higher than expected, drinks and fries were charged separate from the burger. The soda was $2.89 and the fries were $2.70. With two burgers and tax the total came to $29.73 for the two of us. A 15% tip came to $4.12.
