  On May 19th 2026 7:33PM I order pizza and bread sticks from Papa Johns online and the order was sent to your Tarboro Location. Once I arrived, I was told to wait for 10 mins and my pizza will be ready. while waiting he asked if I would like to pay before I get the food and I responded no I can wait until it is done. After waiting the manager on duty at this time took my debit card and left the window for 2 to 3 minutes before returning with card in hand but no receipt. I asked for it and he responded that the store was out of paper. I then asked if he can have it email to me. He became agitated and said he could not. I told him I needed a receipt to show proof of purchase and he then told me that he had taken my card and did not not charge it for the amount agreed at POS which was $59.66. Instead he gave himself a tip on top of my order. I told him I did not authorize you to make that purchase and I asked him to reverse this charge. He then said that he was sorry but his employer Papa Johns is not paying enough for him to be a Manager. I would like a refund and a full investigation to this location. I feel like I am not the only victim of this crime.

  I want to leave an AMAZING review for the employee KB! Tonight the weather wasn’t the best and a lot of places were closed but my kids wanted pizza for supper, I placed my order 30mins before they closed and my husband went to get the food. KB was the only worker there & im so thankful for him he waited to leave for my husband to pick up our pizza! The roads weren’t that good so it took him a little longer to arrive & im so appreciative that he had an amazing helpful, caring attitude! He called me to check on us and all! Not often you find employees that truly care about their job and KB was just great & I truly am thankful for his kindness!

  ACame to this location to try one of their $5 pizzas that's on sale and boy was that a mistake. Called ordered worker said about 15 min we got their in about 12. Got the pizza tasted it and it was warm almost cold not hottt at all. Called back talked to a guy that was giving me a hard time about a remake then told me to just bring the pizza back with a attitude which seems to be cross contaimination considering fact that I have a cold and been coughing near the pizza. He took it back and was whining because 1 piece was missing how else was I suppose to know it tasted coldddd. Worst service food ever. I see why now they have lil to nooo business!!!! New staff please

  Abdul was absolutely amazing! From the moment I walked in, he was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly professional. He made sure my order was 100% correct, answered questions with patience, and kept everything moving quickly and smoothly. On top of that, he made the best Shaq-a-Roni I’ve ever had—perfectly cooked, loaded with toppings, and absolutely delicious. His positive attitude and attention to detail really stood out and made the whole experience even better. You can tell he genuinely cares about customer satisfaction and takes pride in his work. Employees like Abdul are what keep customers coming back. Papa John’s is lucky to have him! 🍕
