  Sushi is always covered in mayonnaise for some reason. The new POS system is unintuitive and does not apply discounts until payment, which is clearly a grab at cash due to misapplied discounts. It is the only store in town and employees do not plan out stocking well as isles are continually blocked

  It was raining bad and two of your very kind employees helped me by getting my car pulled up to front and then putting my groceries in my trunk. That was a blessing and really helped me a lot. Don’t know their names but they know who they are and thanks again and God bless you!

  3 because food lion will ALWAYS be my choice of grocery store. However, while being in Stanley early morning work commute, I had to stop and grab the only tea I will drink… not a single employee acknowledged me, spoke to me, or even remotely cracked a grin! My store would never, neither one near my house would treat people like I was treated this morning. Wild. If I didn’t love food lion so much I would give them 1 star just this location tho. Do better. Smile, it does wonders for people.

  Our hometown food lion….what can I say… you get that local, friendly Stanley vibe!
