  3 because food lion will ALWAYS be my choice of grocery store. However, while being in Stanley early morning work commute, I had to stop and grab the only tea I will drink… not a single employee acknowledged me, spoke to me, or even remotely cracked a grin! My store would never, neither one near my house would treat people like I was treated this morning. Wild. If I didn’t love food lion so much I would give them 1 star just this location tho. Do better. Smile, it does wonders for people.

  Our hometown food lion….what can I say… you get that local, friendly Stanley vibe!

  Terrible store always low stocked and short staffed. Management has no control over employees who start drama and harrass people they know from outside their place of work INSIDE the place of work then tell you not to call and complain to them about they employees when it happens there very shitty store in shitty stanley.

  I love this food lion. Always clean and everyone is so nice. Today Khrystal was so kind to us and went above and beyond. The gentleman that helped us in the meat department (one of the butchers) was so great. Then...I got home and realized I left my phone and another employee (I didn't get her name as my husband ran back and picked it up for me) had called and left voicemail that I accidentally left it behind. So awesome. Thank you all. You are so appreciated. 💗
