I was told they couldn’t break it, which I understand can happen. However, what was frustrating was that no alternative solution was offered. I was simply told to go to a gas station or Food Lion to get change. Customer service is about helping customers find a solution, and I didn’t feel any effort was made to do that. If a business chooses not to accept larger bills, that should be communicated clearly, or employees should be trained to offer better options than sending customers elsewhere. The food may be good, but the experience left me feeling inconvenienced and undervalued as a customer.
