At this location tonight, though, I specified gluten free and got a gruff “what’s that” followed by “we don’t do that”. And she seems to be a manager (black shirt) When I told her I eat at 5G all the time and they do, she shrugged, smirked, and acted like she couldn’t be bothered. It was obvious that everyone working was annoyed that i came in (store is otherwise completely empty). Very sad experience indeed. Hopefully senior management sees this and takes some action.

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
