  I liked this store. We were on vacation and found everything we needed to stock the house. Produce was fresh.

  I am a frequent food lion shopper. My wife and I really loved shopping at food lion `because you always have what we need or want. Most of the time , I just zone out when my wife goes in by herself. I realize how things are right now so if an employee is a little bit nervous I can understand that. However this morning, when my wife went into the store alone, one of the cashiers was nasty to her. I didn't see it, thank god but when she came out of the store she had that ( something is wrong) look on her face. I immediately that something was wrong. At first she wouldn't tell me but after I asked her for about the fourth time she told me that a cashier had been nasty to her, I immediately entered the store, I was on fire and hotter than a stolen pistle. It was a woman named Karen, with shoulder length blond hair. The location is 1005 Madison Avenue In Roxboro NC. I saw her and approached her. I called the manager over. Right away Karen went into Karen mode and tried to keep me from talking but it didn't work, I can only hope that the manager took care of the matter. I left it at that. My wife and I Bothe are handicap. I have a speech impediment as a result of my tour with the U.S. Army many years ago. Listen to me , very, very, VERY carefully. My wife and I have a very close relationship. She is everything to me, If anyone is rude to her, they are rude to me, I'm going to leave it at that. Food lion should take it from here. this is the first and only incident I've had at food lion. This could have ended badly but nobody wins that way. I don't want to worry about my wife wile she's doing her shopping. I trust that this will be handled properly and that this will be the VERY LAST TIME anything like this happens at Food Lion. THE VERY LAST TIME.

  Well kept and organized as well as clean. Customer service is wonderful and the manager works right alongside her crew. Thank you Food Lion.

  I wish you had an indoor bench for people like me who drive their neighbors to shop so I didn't have to either sit in the heat, inside in the handicapped chair. I'd prefer it stay available for someone who needs it more than me.
