  Wanted to grab a quick lunch, sit by the lake, and chill on a Saturday. Very disappointed with both the service and my sandwich. I first ordered the Mediterranean Veggie Sandwich at Panera Bread in Smithfield after a business meeting, and I was excited to order it again at the Rocky Mount location. Unfortunately, this experience was a huge disappointment. First of all, the hummus was so runny that it soaked part of the sandwich bread (see picture). Secondly, parts of the bread were so hard and stale that I couldn’t even eat them (see picture). The sandwich honestly looked rushed and poorly made compared to the one I had before in Smithfield. On top of that, the customer service really needs improvement at this location. No one seemed friendly or welcoming, and a simple smile or greeting can go a long way when you’re spending money. The overall atmosphere just felt cold and unwelcoming. Unfortunately, I would not recommend the Panera Bread in Rocky Mount, NC based on my experience. I expected much better quality and service.

  Went there to get some muffins and there were only 2 in the showcase wanted more but when the girl told the manager I wanted 6 she said that's all of them we dont have anymore ina voice tone I didn't appreciate. Will not be returning there they should stay stocked.

  Been an hour since I placed my order. Called to check in about status. Was told that the delivery was now on the way and that was over 20 minutes ago when it takes less than 10 minutes to my place from Panera. I normally pick up for this very reason but I’m sick so that wasn’t an option today. The app tracker shows the driver has STILL not left the store. This is why people don’t want to tip before the service because of crap like this. Horrible service.

  I love how friendly the staff is. My order is always hot and fresh. I love the breakfast souflee. They have the best chai latte and hot chocolate!

  Our family has been to a lot of Panera locations and this one is outstanding from the rest! Service is impressive. 2 of their members are outside of the counter where you pick up your order, making sure everyone gets their order correctly. They walk around tables checking if we need anything and if our order is perfect. They set a great atmosphere, I can tell that they all work together with harmony. The food was great and perfectly served on time. The store and restrooms are spotless, considering we got there during lunchtime. These are happy people during a fantastic job! May the Lord continue to bless you all.
