An older woman was in charge of self checkout, yelled at me for turning down the machine that was at full volume, she explained that she’s hard of hearing but that machine was extra loud. She then proceeded to say i can’t put my pin into the reader (which i have done multiple times at this food lion) so i don’t get the cash back i requested. I thought maybe it was my fault so i bought something i didn’t actually want so i could get the cash back after i’ve already checked out for the second time does she tell me i can’t get cash back without a pin. i went to the return counter and Patricia came to help, she threw the item i returned and crumpled the receipt before she was done with it and had to uncrumple it to finish the transaction, and as soon as she gave me my receipt for the return said bye, but i had another item that i needed to have taken care of from my first transaction. same thing with the receipts. I don’t find it encouraging to shop here if my polite requests for a return are met with that kind of attitude.

Customer service is not good, ask for help and they have to wait on someone with a key to come up and then I go back to the original person that was helping me to check out and I just get told I can go to self check out and “I have to get back to work” from the key holder like isn’t this your job. I always feel negative attitudes from employees here

I always save money at food lion. I especially like the hwy 52 location in Albemarle NC for its friendly, knowledgeable staff and clean store. Thank you!

For the last 2 weeks this store has had nothing in stock. When you ask an employee why they are always out of stuff the treat you like crap. I guess whoever orders for meat and groceries need to fix something! I would hate to drive to Salsibury or Asheboro! I also was hearing other people complaining too! Get it right or I'm moving on!
