  OVER MANY DECADES I HAVE SHOP AT THE LOCAL FOOD LION THEY HAVE FRESH PRODUCE AND FRESH MEATS OF ALL VARIETY.

  Poor customer service. First time doing an online order from here since April and just experienced the same exact crap. I get a text when the shopper starts shopping, I get a notification when 2 items are out of stock, I check the app and see that the shopper is done shopping and the order is pending being finalized. I never get a notification that the order is ready so I check the app to see that my order has disappeared and there is no way to check in for the order. I call numerous times with no answer. I have to go in the store after paying for an online order, and when you get in the store, the rudeness is ridiculous. To top it off, an associate informed me that the rude customer service manager on duty is the one who turner the ringer off on the phones. I'll continue to do Walmart orders like I have been doing since April. Tried to give them another chance, only to be met with the same bull crap.

  I never shop here because I dont live in the area but I often stop to get a snack here before thrifting. I have to tell you the EXTRAORDINARY customer service that cashier number 217, lane 5 gave to a customr today at about 1:30. Not only did she keep eye contact with this customer most of the conversation, she also showed the customer she would stay with the conversation til they were done. It was a delight standing in line behind this customer while cashier 217 finished scanning the groceries, received payment, and then leaned on the register in order to finish this detrimental conversation with this customer. The attention she paid to that customer at the detriment of the other customer who could only stand there waiting for the conversation that was so important to finish so she could be greeted with the same attention and upbeat conversation. Finally, after waiting for them to finish taking about mundane things that had nothing to o with shopping, I finally stepped up confident in knowing that this cashier would drop everyone else to pay attention only to me at the detriment of now more customers, and she stepped up, breathed deep and... looked at the front windows, refused to make eye contact with me, and spoke only to ask if I wanted a bunch of two liter bottles of soda in a bag. The disappointment on my face was visible as it dawned on me that I apparently was not her target audience when it came to conversation. So I crept behind the cart, deciding to keep my head down and wishing for just a scrap of the extraordinarily happy conversation I ha previously witnessed once I was done with my transaction. Alas, I was only greeted with a blank face staring at her coworker and silence towards me as she reached out and missed handing me the receipt. Thank you Food Lion, Red Springs for the opportunity to experience your customr service first hand. It has truly helps me make a quick decision about returning.
