The service was generally well trained and professional, though the staff did not seem especially engaged or enthusiastic.
The space itself is very loud. Some of that comes from the other guests, but the greenhouse-style design creates a significant amount of echo, and the large central fountain adds even more background noise. As a result, it can be difficult to hear conversation at the table.
The menu feels expensive without a clear organizing concept or identity. The dishes I tried were well prepared and tasty, so this is not a criticism of execution. However, the overall experience did not feel especially distinctive or justified by the pricing.
For a rooftop greenhouse venue, I also expected stronger views. While there are views, they are primarily of the surrounding North Hills development, which may not be what some diners are hoping for from this type of setting.
At this price point, I would personally choose Herons instead. It offers stronger food, more polished service, better views, and a quieter atmosphere that is more conducive to conversation.
Overall, while the food was competently prepared, the experience did not feel memorable or compelling enough to justify the cost.

What an absolutely stunning restaurant! The entire experience was amazing, and the food, OMG! Our server was Jenny, and she took fantastic care of us. We enjoyed the oysters (phenomenal), crispy artichokes (also incredible), the heirloom tomatoes with burrata (so creamy), and the lamb chops (to die for). For dessert, we had the strawberries and cream, which was so amazing, and the chocolate chip cookies. The views are beautiful from the roof. Definitely a spot to check out.
Great ambiance and views. This restaurant makes for great experience for more special occasions like an anniversary/ birthday event. It is pricey, but the experience is worth it for a special occasion (not a regular date night unless you're just trying to impress). Food was delicious but portions are smaller so go hungry but not ravenous. Also go early so you can stroll through the building below and get home decorating ideas before eating. The outside terrace is also great for strolling outside and watching the sunset while sipping on a drink.
Come here for the atmosphere, not the food. They only have a few mixed drinks, because they currently don't have a bar (though the waitress said they are in the process of getting one). The food is basically expensive things on a plate. The prices are very high, but this is North Hills, and there is nowhere else in North Hills where it's so vibey with such fun people watching. Our booth had so much space that we were in our own world, not hearing the individual words of anyone else--which was awesome. But the people in charge of this kitchen are not chefs. The filet was served medium instead of medium rare. The Chilean sea bass was super bland, and the warm shrimp vegetable salad had good shrimp, but half the vegetables were so charred, they were just burnt and inedible. In terms of service: we ordered a prosciutto board but were served and charged for a bigger, more expensive one. We let this slide since we were hungry. We ordered a 9 ounce glass of wine that was mistakenly served and charged as 6 ounces--the waitress corrected this cheerfully when we brought it up. Overall, if I returned, I would wait until they had a bar and just get drinks and nibbles.
I’m disappointed to share that my recent experience was negatively impacted by our waitress, Nicole. We were celebrating a friend’s birthday, and from the start, the service felt rushed and uncomfortable. She gave us incorrect information about the restaurant’s closing time, which created unnecessary pressure on our group to order quickly while we were still waiting for a few friends to arrive.
When it came time to pay, we politely requested separate checks, which she seemed unwilling to accommodate. The most concerning part was when I was paying for my own order, despite explaining clearly, she charged my card for the entire table. This caused confusion and inconvenience, and unfortunately, there was no apology or effort to resolve the situation in a courteous manner.
Throughout the evening, her tone came across as impatient and dismissive, which took away from what should have been a special celebration. This is actually my second experience being served by her, and I’ve noticed a consistent lack of warmth and professionalism.
I want to note that I’ve had great experiences with other servers here, which is why this stood out so much. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as attentive and respectful service makes a big difference.
