Do not recommend. Highly overrated.
After seeing so many positive reviews, I had high hopes for this spot, but it was incredibly disappointing. The sushi quality was mediocre at best, essentially grocery-store level. The worst thing was their service. I won't be returning.

Pretty incredible really. Stopped in on Monday night for work dinner and did not disappoint. Have heard good things about O-ku but my first time this week and our waitress Nicole was the perfect host. She was very helpful with our total experience from Sake recommendations to what we REALLY needed to try. The lobster temaki hand rolls are so damn good…. 10/10 would try O-ku Raleigh again.

We found ourselves at this gem at happy hour. Dumplings and well priced rolls. It was fantastic. So good we shared a dessert thinking that dessert can’t be good at a sushi place.. wrong. It was fabulous. WE WILL BE BACK.

Emphasis on service! Everyone was kind and attentive, the food is well worth the price, and the whole place is beautiful with a window view of the street.

I celebrated my 22nd birthday here, and it was such a wonderful experience! The aesthetic was beautiful, with warm, inviting lighting that made the atmosphere feel so special. The food and drinks were top-tier, and the staff was incredibly kind and attentive.
They even customized the menus for my guests and me to say “Natasha’s 22nd Birthday,” which we got to take home, such a thoughtful touch! At the end of the night, they surprised me with a birthday card signed by the entire staff and a delicious dessert with a candle.
Overall, everything was amazing, and making a reservation was super easy. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate!
