My second time here and it’s always an amazing experience. I came here for the first time couple months ago thanks to JB’s recommendation. Not disappointed at all. Best sushi place without any doubt. This time, I tried O Baby, Angry Salmon, and two other items that are special menu from JB.

Top notch experience. Best sushi restaurant since I went to NOBU. Highly recommend for a date night or with your more affluent friends. It’s not cheap but it’s a place where you savor every bite and don’t feel bloated at the end of your meal. Truly an experience.

Gerry was literally the best waiter on the planet. I could not imagine a better waiter than Gerry . Me and my wife are new to the area and gerry made us feel welcome to NC. Management needs to give him a raise

Very disappointed. It takes a lot for me to write a bad review. Came here with my husband and parents. The waiter was very nice at first….. we all ordered sushi. 1- there is a $3 up charge just to switch from spicy tuna to regular tuna- like why? Other sushi rolls have regular tuna- so why is there an up charge to simply use another meat that’s already available? 2- I asked to add avocado to my roll, which ended up being a $2 up charge and was not told to us beforehand. So an already $15 expensive roll turned into an outrageously $20 expensive roll. 3- three of our five rolls came out wrong- when we told the waiter about the mistakes , his attitude totally changed- he was short and stern with us. 4- they remade the rolls but it took a very long time. 5- did the manager come by and apologize? No! Did they give us a discount on our bills? No! 6- our water cups were empty for most of the meal. We’ve always loved this place but after this I don’t know if we’ll be back. Very poor service!

We went here for our son’s 23rd birthday. He loves sushi, and this was a new place for us. Kiran was our server and was exceptional. The food came out promptly but not rushed. We shared nigiri, wagu teppanyaki, dumplings and hanger steak, and it was all delicious. Jacob got a special dessert and card for his birthday. We will be back for sure. Highly recommend.
