  Everything we ordered was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was attentive and thoughtful. They even changed our plates between courses since we were sharing dishes. Beautiful, cozy atmosphere. The only things I noticed were that there was no salt on the table, and no one offered or asked if we needed any. The tables were also very close together, making the dining area feel quite crowded. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience and would definitely come back!

  O-Ku went above and beyond our expectations and we had such an amazing night! Our waitress, Itcel, was very kind and knowledgeable of the menu and made some excellent recommendations which we loved! She also surprised us with a little pistachio (?) ice cream chocolate cake for our anniversary which was so sweet and delicious! Speaking of delicious, the sushi tasted very authentic and well-made. Highly recommend trying the salmon nigiri first! The drink I had, Clouds on White, was also very interesting and I enjoyed it as well. Will be back again for sure!

  The nigiri is a bit steep for 1 piece but the Otoro Spoons are amazing took my friend for his birthday and I think they specially made this sorbet. The waiter Eric(lovely person), had said there were dairy free options but since the menu rotates unfortunately it wasn’t available to our surprise a bowl of raspberry sorbet a candle and a signed card from the staff was hand delivered. Thank you for helping make my friends birthday so special!

  Holy shit was this place amazing. The food was absolutely incredible. The service from our incredible waitress Itcel was next level. Her incredible personality and knowledge of the menu elevated our experiance from good to great. The whole place was surgically clean and the atmosphere was romantic without feeling pretentious. But the star of the night for me was the O-toro. If you have never had it, its the wagyu of the sea. It is super fatty tuna, and the flavor it brings is a truly magical experience to say the least. I recommend ordering it as Sashimi. The reason being that they charge the same price for one nigiri (fish over rice) or 1 sashimi (just a piece of fish) which means you are essentially paying $20 for a ball of rice if you buy two Nigiri. Where as you get two pieces of this magical meat for the same price sashimi style. Note: I have paid up to $40 a piece some places for O-toro. Yes, it is worth the price. It is a rare cut of meat as it is harvested from the very small belly of the tuna. It makes up a fraction of a fraction of a tunas weight, and is sought after across the world for its truly absurd flavor and texture. Well, enough of the anatomy lesson. Order the O-toro and you can thank me later. 10/10 O-Ku is 100% worth every penny.

  O-Ku Raleigh is a beautiful restaurant. We visited for our daughter's 20th Birthday dinner. The customer service was amazing from the time we walked in until we left. The atmosphere was calm, it was not loud. The good was delicious and the Sushi was very fresh. Our waiter Eric was phenomenal. He took his time to explain everything, he was attentive and interacted with us throughout our dinner. The ambiance of the restaurant was exactly what we hoped for. Items we tried: O-Ku rock shrimp, dumplings, West St wings, Gyuniku, 4 different Sushi rolls, for dessert Sata Andagi, Matcha ice cream that had a brownie at the bottom. The overall experience was great and we were impressed by the entire experience. Thank you Eric for taking care of us and celebrating our daughter.
