  Really disappointed with our first visit to K38 in Raleigh. We are big fans of Tower 7 in Morehead City and go there frequently, so we invited our friends to join us at K38 thinking it would be the same. From the moment we walked in and there was no one at all at the host stand until we finished, after our 90 minute parking validation expired because the service took so long and one of our party got the wrong item, it was NOT the same. Food was actually pretty good (slow and not hot), but the service was so bad from start to finish (including wrong charges on our simple bill) it negated what we ate.

  The food was awful!! My wife ordered the ACP and the rice tasted like box Spanish rice from the grocery store. I ordered shredded chicken tacos and the chicken tasted spoiled. We had them take it off the check. The WORST! Our waitress was very friendly and attentive though.

  We were disappointed with our meal at K38. The rice was either under cooked or had been out for way to long and was hard. The food in general was bland and small portions for the cost. Not a great experience.

  Love this restaurant! I live at Seaboard station and come at least twice a week. Mia is my absolute favorite person and always makes the best drinks and brings a good vibe and energy. You will leave feeling positive and feeling all the good vibes. The tostada is a must and you have to get their sauce, it doesn’t disappoint. If you haven’t tried it, please do, you won’t regret it!

  The food was not Mexican. It was more American style Mexican. The only good thing that we had is a Birria taco. The margarita took 20 minutes to come out. Our waiter was very sweet and funny- but he did not write down anything and then all of our orders were wrong. Someone ordered 2 tacos, 1 was brought out. The waiter then proceeded to ask if it was “cool” that our customer had only one taco instead of two. At the end when we asked for the bill to be split it was split completely wrong, and the specials for the day were not applied. I’d love for this place to be good- but unfortunately it was not. Maybe there’s room for improvement in the future, but there was nothing good tonight and it left a bad taste in all of our mouths.
