Upgraded review rating based on Owners response
I stopped by this brand-new Jimmy John's location hoping for a quick, satisfying lunch. While there are some positives, the overall experience left a lot to be desired—especially when it came to the actual food.
The Good: Great First Impression
Cleanliness: Being a new location, the restaurant is nice. The dining area, counters, and overall environment are bright, fresh, and highly inviting.
The Bad: Mediocre Service
The Vibe: The service was decidedly mediocre. The staff wasn't necessarily rude, but there was a lack of energy and urgency. For a chain whose entire brand identity is built on being "Freaky Fast," the assembly and checkout felt indifferent.
The Ugly: Where is the Meat? (An $11 Disappointment)
The Wrap: I decided to try one of their wraps, which came out to roughly $11.
The Reality: When you cut it open, the disappointment is immediate. Looking at the cross-section, the ratio is completely off. The wrap is heavily padded with thick folds of the tortilla itself, leaving a massive, hollow gap right in the center.
The Value: For $11, you expect a hearty, protein-packed wrap. Instead, you get a couple of thin slices of meat wrapped around a sparse amount of fillings, leaving you with mouthfuls of dry, empty tortilla. It feels incredibly light and skimpy for the price point.
Final Verdict
If you are charging premium deli prices, you need to deliver a premium amount of ingredients. A clean building can't mask a clear lack of value. Until they fix their portion control and step up the staff's enthusiasm, I’ll be taking my lunch budget elsewhere.
