  Clean, convenient, love the prices. Always have a great shopping experience. I also enjoy the Food Lion to go! I can order online and pickup on my own schedule. Perfect for busy families!

  Food Lion is food Lion, that is not clean like Lowe's or Harris teeter but it does cost less.

  The gentleman who checked me out was great. He was apologetic for the system taking a while, very kind, and diligent. The one star review is reserved for a secondary cashier whom stepped over to "assist" by looking in our stroller then attempted to scan, previously scanned items placed in undercarriage of the cart. I politely said "the gentleman already scanned those items" unto which, he agreed. 3 box of sodas and 2 boxes of chips, which I held for him to scan and of course will not fit in a bag. As we are about half way down the parking lot to our vehicle, the lady told the guy to come check my reciept to ensure I paid for the items in the undercarriage. She stood at the doorway watching. This debacle was establisted as entiely unnessary, which then made it unjust. So i proceeded to bring the cart back inside and attempt to hand her my reciept for her own verification, which she again delegated to the young man. It's disrespectful and simply delusional to do something in this manner, when the gentleman had already confirmed BEFORE we left the store. Edit: While they were so worried about what we may have not paid for, they proceeded to not give us our hummus. (First item on our receipt)

  it's well maintained and dedicated room from fresh groceries is good 👍
