  I was heartbroken by this last experience I had shopping at this store. I as a customer and a former cashier, took the time to speak to two different members of management, two different times to compliment a cashier Cookie or Miss Cookie because she consistently provides excellent customer service. The next time I came through her line, I asked if anyone had shared my compliments with her, and she told me no. That was very disappointing to hear. When customers take the time to recognize an employee for doing a great job,and she was not told about it? She is very respectful polite and "old school" of customer service. I feel those compliments should be passed along. Employees who provide outstanding service deserve to be recognized and appreciated. I hope management does a better job of acknowledging hardworking employees in the future.Hi Miss Cookie🫶🏻

  This is a great neighbourhood grocery store. Its convenient, has a great selection of everything one needs, and its clean and well maintained. The best part is the employees - as they're always friendly and helpful. A great example of this is Miss Cookie - she's always a shining light of friendliness and customer service!!

  I’m new to town, and this was my first time shopping at Food Lion. I was really happy with my experience. I found everything I needed, the prices were good, and the store was clean and organized. Miss Cookie, the cashier, was especially kind and welcoming. She had a great attitude, made me feel comfortable, and really brightened my day. It’s nice to receive genuine customer service like that when you’re new to an area. I’ll definitely be coming back.
