  I have one major complaint about this store! That complaint is everything that I purchase smells like bug spray! It’s an odor that is very distinctive. It almost smells kind of flowery like.. but it’s clearly the insecticide that they use to keep the roaches from invading the products It’s literally everywhere, I guess who is spraying it sprays Generously throughout the aisles and under all of the freezers and refrigerators, Because I have smelt it on all the Outside Packaging. I cannot bring myself to eat the food because of the smell is strong enough to have permeated the packaging! I guess if you were not paying attention, you would not even notice it. Next time You bring your groceries home from a Food Lion store and this goes for any Food Lion store in the North Raleigh area ( because I tried to switch stores) take a deep smell of the outside wrappers of the groceries. Or even your fresh produce and see if you don’t notice this smell you cannot smell it while you’re in the store because you go nose blind, but you can definitely smell it outside of the environment, but then it’s too late because you’ve already bought them lol. And who wants to take a load of groceries back and look like a crazy person. Other than that, I would totally love shopping this store, or any Food Lion stores because I think their prices are great but they have to get a handle on this bug spray crap ! On the upside, I haven’t seen any bugs anywhere, but actually I would rather deal with the bugs then with the poison they put out to keep them away.
