  Food Lion has alot of employees...that is good. The prices are higher. Please make sure you get the digital coupons...their fruits are not as fresh as I would like. I look for deals.

  An experience I want to share respectfully, but also very firmly. I want to begin by saying that I like Food Lion and, in general, I have had very good experiences there. The supervisors and many of the employees have been wonderful, kind, and willing to help. In fact, today the supervisors were excellent and handled a difficult situation with patience, respect, and empathy. ❤️ That is precisely why it is so disappointing that the attitude of one employee can overshadow the otherwise positive experience I have had at this store. Today I had an issue with my WIC card that was not my fault. The situation was already stressful, but the attitude of the older female employee who assisted me made everything much worse. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I have had an experience like this with her. Every time I come to the store and she assists me, I feel the same uncomfortable attitude. She gives me unpleasant looks and, when other customers are nearby, makes gestures and expressions that make me feel as though my presence is a problem or an inconvenience. I am not saying that she told the other customers anything; I am specifically referring to her gestures, looks, and the way she behaves. To me, that behavior is very uncomfortable and disrespectful. As a single mother, I have learned to handle many difficult situations, and I can understand that people may have a bad day. But there is one thing I will never accept: making my daughter feel uncomfortable or looking at her in a disrespectful way. My daughter is autistic. No one is required to know her condition, but that is exactly why I believe we should never judge what we see without knowing what another person or family may be going through. Inclusion is not simply allowing everyone to be in the same place. Inclusion also means treating everyone with dignity, respect, patience, and empathy. I am not asking for special treatment because I use WIC. I am asking for the same thing every customer deserves: respect and humanity. I want to especially recognize the supervisors who helped us today because they demonstrated exactly how someone should be treated when they are going through a difficult moment: with kindness, patience, and empathy. ❤️ I hope that same attitude can be extended to every employee, because we never know what battles another person may be facing. Do not judge. Do not point fingers. Choose empathy. I can tolerate many things when it comes to myself, but when it comes to my daughter, I will never accept disrespect. ❤️

  Although I moved out of Raleigh in 2022, I am forever grateful for this store. The only place on I-95 corridor from Florida to DC with kosher food. The prices are good, and the selection is decent

  This is definitely my favorite Food Lion in the whole world 🥹❤️. I’ve been to many locations, but none compare to this one. It’s always fully stocked, the meat is fresh, the fruits and vegetables look amazing, and everything is clean and organized. But what truly makes this place special is the people who work here. I especially want to thank the supervisors who are always there in the mornings when I shop with my baby. There is an amazing female supervisor and also a male supervisor that I already consider my “partner in crime” because of his incredible energy, kindness, and empathy. He always greets me, helps me, and makes me feel welcome. Even though we don’t speak the same language — he speaks English and I speak Spanish — he still understands me so well and always treats me with patience and respect 💙. That says a lot about a person. I also want to thank all the employees and cashiers. I know not every day is easy, but overall this store has such a warm and human atmosphere. People like you are what this world needs more of 🥰✨ Thank you for always making my shopping experience such a pleasant one, especially when I come with my baby. You can truly feel when a team works with care and good energy. 💕
