- DWDalton WJun 12, 20261.0We are new to the country and the food is some of the lowest quality food I've had in my entire life, compared to all the other countries I've been to. So everyone told us we had to try 5 guys, because it's amazing, so we did. To save everyone a long story, it wasn't great. The fries were "old" tasting and oily, and the burger was heavy and dry, no sauce whatsoever. The milkshakes were just a cup of sugar, no actual flavour distinguishment and the flavours are all synthetic. The soda at the cup station thingy tastes like literal chemicals. I don't know how this kind of food passes as food in the USA. I have never eaten this low quality food in any other country anywhere else. Burgers are supposed to taste fresh and make you happy, with fresh garnish a succulent, moist patty with fresh salad and fries (chips), they are supposed to taste like actual potatoes. My goodness, I don't know anymore. I've tried all the places I can in Raleigh so far and I can't find a place that sells fresh, non-synthetic, authentic actual food 😔...

When I came in to get my new order she was very apologetic and kind. My burger was remade perfectly and tastes great. On top of that, the cashier was so kind and even during a rush took time to have a very personalized interaction with me. I definitely will come back to this location in the future.

The only products we offer that contain gluten are our buns, hot dogs (Canada only), HP sauce (UK only), and the malt vinegar condiment for our fries. In Canada, our Poutine Gravy condiment also contains gluten. All of our sandwiches, including burgers, hot dogs and the veggie sandwich, are available without a bun via our wrap or bowls.

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.

Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
Also, give those leftover fries a try as hash browns, home fries, or even as the filling in an omelet.
