I always end up with something missing in my order and us having to turn around and going back. I simply do not understand why they cannot improve their system so that this does not keep happening. And the cost of their food and drinks are not cheap enough for me to not care about missing items in my order.

The drive-thru line was wrapped around the building, but I had already placed my order through the Dunkin app and went inside to pick it up. The restaurant was busy inside as well. It appeared that most customers were placing orders through the self-service kiosks rather than with a cashier. The employees all seemed focused and busy keeping up with the morning rush. Because of the kiosk ordering system and the layout of the preparation area, there wasn't much interaction between staff and customers. That's not necessarily a negative, but I personally appreciate some level of employee-customer interaction, even at a fast-food restaurant, as it helps create a more welcoming experience and makes me more likely to return. One area that could use improvement is the mobile order pickup area. This Dunkin also shares space with Baskin-Robbins, and the pickup location is tucked into a corner where the two counters meet. Since the restaurant was busy, there were several people waiting for orders, and I had to weave through other customers just to check whether my order was ready. A more dedicated or spacious pickup area would make it easier for mobile order customers to grab their orders and go. I did notice that food delivery drivers had a separate pickup area, which seemed to work very well. Service was relatively quick considering how busy the location was. My coffee was hot, my order was correct, and everything was ready in a reasonable amount of time. The restaurant wasn't spotless, but it appeared clean overall. Overall, this was a solid experience at this Raleigh Dunkin location. The app ordering process worked well, the coffee was prepared correctly, and the staff kept things moving during a busy Sunday morning rush. I would stop here again if I was in the area and wanted a coffee, although it wouldn't be a Dunkin location I would go out of my way to visit.
