  Some of the best shrimp and grits I’ve had in a long time. Sat at the bar with a coworker and had a great experience. Wonderful smoked old fashioned.

  The place is very noisy. Music playing so loud that people had to talk loud over each other. We waited for a while for someone to come a take our order.

  We love the Garrison in Pineville and it’s one of our Go To restaurants. The service is always exceptional. We love the lively atmosphere and the great food.

  I went to the Garrison for dinner on a Tuesday evening, and sat on the restaurant side at 6 PM. It was about 3/4 full of . I ordered a martini that was made incorrectly (and tasted terrible) I did ask a different beverage.. we ordered deviled eggs for an appetizer, which took 20 minutes to arrive. .My friend ordered fish and chips for dinner. The fish was very greasy and the fries seasoned, ( which was not advertised) He requested cocktail sauce, (three times ) and was provided with red tartar sauce? Apparently they, the server.and kitchen don’t know what cocktail sauce, is. He asked for ketchup with horseradish on the side, but we never received that . I ordered the shrimp tacos with mango salsa. I received two tacos, with two small shrimp in each soft shell.. the shrimp was over seasoned, the cabbage was plain, they were very dry with minimal mangoand didn’t have much flavor. I wouldn’t bother going here. The food is very expensive and as noted above, sub par

  I really like this place so I decided to go for my graduation dinner. I made reservations at 4 pm for a large party on the phone and forgot to mention my grandfathers mobility issues which I did not figure was an issue, since I was not specifically asked about it. When I arrived for my dinner I was given a table upstairs, however there is no elevator and my grandfather could not make it up the stairs. We were told there were no other tables available even though there was a large table downstairs that would have fit my family. We were informed that the other table was reserved for another large party that also had mobility issues, so we were placed outside next to the road which was very noisy and windy. The outside seating was also on a slant which was not ideal for my grandfather, who was in a wheelchair. We enjoyed our food but as we were eating we couldn’t help but notice the large table inside that we were told was reserved sat empty the entire time we were there. I was never asked if anyone in my party had mobility issues so it was surprising to hear that the other downstairs reserved table informed the staff beforehand and also happened to need the table at the same time as us (especially for an early 4pm dinner). We also weren’t offered to push any tables together to accommodate us downstairs. Again, everyone enjoyed their food but the lack of accommodations was upsetting. In this day and age most buildings can accommodate disabled individuals especially with the ADA requirements in place. I would recommend the food especially the steak sandwich, but if you are looking for an accessible place to eat this is definitely not the place. I do take accountability for forgetting to mention any accommodations, however most places have elevators or a ramp. This is just another painful reminder of the lack of regard for those with disabilities and the elderly.
