  Never thought the best service and hospitality I’ve had in Charlotte in months (years?) would be at Dave and Busters. Terrence, Briar, and the rest of the team were great. Couldn’t have been more accommodating or attentive for our group. Checking in regularly even prior to our group being seated. Everyone acted like they wanted to be at work and had a role in providing a good experience.

  I wanted to write this review before I forget…and before I even leave Dave & Buster’s in Pineville, North Carolina! This is our second time visiting this location, and I have to start by saying the food is surprisingly delicious. I honestly didn’t expect the food at Dave & Buster’s to be this good, but both times we’ve been here, we’ve really enjoyed it. But what I really want to highlight is the management at the Pineville location. The manager is on point! It’s an extremely busy night, and this manager is visible, engaged, and constantly moving throughout the restaurant. I’ve seen him at the bar, the hostess station, the game floor, and throughout the seating areas—checking on things, supporting his team, answering questions, and making sure everything is flowing as smoothly as possible. While I was at the hostess station, I was a little confused about the 45-minute wait and how the seating process worked. He took it upon himself to step in and graciously explain that they didn’t currently have servers available for a particular section. It was a small interaction, but that extra step made a big difference in the customer experience. You simply don’t get that kind of attentive service everywhere. Huge shout-out to the manager at Dave & Buster’s in Pineville! Leadership is visible, and tonight it was obvious that he was in the flow with his team- going wherever he was needed and helping keep things moving on an incredibly busy night. That deserves to be recognized!

  Service at the bar was terrible. There was only 1 other customer at the bar. Even with that the manager on duty greeted me and gave me a menu. The bartender was mostly off the bar and very inattentive. Apparently they take your credit card and hold it if you want a quick bite to eat and pay with cash. Bartender also just handed me money back and didn't count it to ensure it was right. I spoke with the manager about my concerns but she gave off the impression she didn't care. Hopefully service is better for others

  Brandon was by far the best server I've ever had coming to this location, and totally deserves a raise. He was funny and engaging. Very attentive and the food was delicious, but the drinks were even better. Excellent service!

  My wife and I stopped by exclusively for dinner while out near the mall in Pineville. Overall, the restaurant area is actually pretty solid as a sports bar setup with great, clear screens for watching a game. Just be aware that the background noise from the game machines in the arcade can be a bit overbearing, though it's tolerable if you go in expecting that to be part of the experience. The menu offers a pretty decent mix of choices. I ended up ordering the Blackened Chicken Alfredo. The presentation was nice, but the dish itself was unfortunately somewhat oversalted, making for a less pleasant meal. As for the service, the staff was friendly, but not particularly attentive. It took a long time for our server to take our order—despite her only having two tables at the time—and another long delay at the end of the meal to get our check. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience for dinner, but definitely not a great one either. We likely wouldn't return just for dinner alone, but we might try it again if we plan on doing some gaming as well. One additional pet peeve note which seems to be a growing trend in some restaurants. Payment at the table with the server standing there waiting for the device while you tap your card and enter their tip. I am not a fan of this as it makes the tipping experience a bit awkward, especially if the service was mediocre or poor. Would like to see more of leave the device at the table and pick it up after either a few minutes or the guest departs.
