We had such a wonderful wedding welcome dinner on the covered patio area at Basnight’s. The staff were amazingly kind, and the food was DELISH. The views of the sound are also a gorgeous photo backdrop! Absolutely would recommend!

Each time I’ve dined here, the food has been delicious and the service has been wonderful. On my most recent visit, I ordered the Caribbean jerk-spiced swordfish and the fried soft-shell crab as a shared appetizer. 🦀 The view of the water is lovely, and the garden and waterfront offer great photo ops. 📸

Very unimpressed with the manager. The food for the most part was decent. But we ordered a medium rare steak and it came out well done, no mistaking that. She came to the table and insisted it was the lighting and it would be a waste to make another steak. I know the difference between a well done and a medium rare steak, I don’t need the supposed manager arguing with me and telling me I am wrong. Will not be back because of her, the waitress however was great.

We were seated in the very back of the restaurant with an amazing view of the water. I got the fried combo with green beans and whipped sweet potatoes. Everything was great with the food. My wife got the Parmesan crusted chicken with baked potato and green beans, she liked it, but next time she'll order it without the cream sauce as it made the chicken's coating not as crunchy.
Our server, Cassia, was amazing! She checked in on us several times and was very prompt with service.
Also dessert was great too! Highly recommend the Hershey bar cake and the carrot cake!

Good fresh food little no seasoning on oven roasted red potatoes. The blackened golden tile fish was delicious just not the amount of blackened seasoning on the filets. Then very good ear of corn, basic no seasoning but very good and crisp sweet.
