  Tried the tuna bites at the NC State Fair and it was the best dish I tried all day. The seasoning and freshness of the fish was top notch! I hope they return next year because I will be saving up my appetite for all that tender fried tuna goodness.

  Hanna was the best. Very attentive and listened to exactly what we wanted. The food was awesome and we certainly plan to visit again. Both Hanna and the food made this a great experience!! 😀

  Just had dinner for 9. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic! We had Blackened Drum Fish. Wow! So wonderful and the salsa was terrific too. The beets were a delightful addition. Our waiter, Jeff, did an amazing job. He was attentive and brought our orders out just as we were ready. Will go back. And, the menu had so many great seafood options!

  Daughter had her wedding rehearsal dinner here, they overbooked with 3 wedding parties at the same time on a Friday night...the wedding party was told to go to upstairs to the bar for drinks, drinks were extremely slow to be made and the bartender was a bit rude... It took and hour and 15 mins just to get salads, and when the meals came out many were wrong, all were ice cold. The bride adressed her concerns and the "lead" had her in tears... Saturday for the reception, the catering staff from Bassnights were very professional, food was good and hot, and they stayed on top of it from beginning to end, to bad they weren't as professional for the rehearsal...some of our wedding guest also ate there in the main dining area, their service and food was so slow and bad that they comped the entire table...

  ​As many years as we have been coming to the OBX, we had never stopped here before. We were looking for something new to try, and after looking at all the great reviews, we decided to give it a shot. We were very impressed! ​I started out with a margarita, which was very flavorful. For appetizers, we shared the pork belly and the crab dip. I love pork belly anyway, but these were so delicious I could easily eat a couple of plates of them as a meal with a side salad. For the mains, we had the tilefish with a baked potato. It was very light and flaky, and we will definitely be ordering this dish again. To finish off the meal, we had a key lime pie which was delicious. ​The service was fantastic. Our server, Timothy, was very friendly and spot-on with his suggestions. He was attentive and truly made our meal enjoyable. The ambiance was casual, everyone was really friendly, and we had a great time. ​The view of the water from our table was amazing, and as the sun was setting, it became completely epic. We will definitely be coming back soon!
