  Very family friendly atmosphere as there are large tables with plenty of seating. The food was delicious. Definitely get the she-crab soup. The grilled tuna with blueberry glaze and goat cheese figs with whipped sweet potatoes was absolutely amazing! The broiled cedar platter was super fresh and cooked perfectly! This place is a must try.

  8/15/26 There were 4 in our party and our server Mecca was great. This is a restaurant we have visited previously while on vacation. I had a Coca Cola, fried fish tacos and the she crab soap. All I ate of the tacos was the fried fish but did finish the cup of soup and had one small bite of cornbread. The others in our party had a sampler platter, seafood pasta dish and a chicken sandwich with fries. They each had cornbread. Thirty minutes after leaving and returning to our rental I started feeling sick. By the middle of the night I was incredibly ill. Of course I had a 12 hour drive to return home that Sunday. To say I was miserable is an understatement. None of the others in my party were sick. Clearly, something I consumed there was the culprit. Also, there was major brouhaha at the table next to ours as a customers credit card was misplaced. Will not be returning.

  We had a great dinner tonight! Dalton was our server, and he was attentive, friendly, and so helpful walking us through the specials and menu. If the French Onion Soup is on the specials menu, order it! The crab dip was also very good, and both of our meals were delicious. Even though we were completely full, we both had dessert! The Hershey Cake was so yummy, and the Crème Brûlée was amazing! Great food, great service, and a great view!

  This was not fresh Seafood. We took our family of 10 to a celebratory dinner and were very disappointed in our food. The waitress was attentive and friendly but 3 of us had the worst flounder. Very dry and fishy. And we had it cooked 3 separate ways! We learned later that it isn’t flounder season in OBX so it was not fresh. And the potato of the day was undercooked bland baked potato Cafeteria food with 4 star prices. Save your money. We are locals and we won’t be back.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One of our favorite places to eat in Nags Head! The food is always so good that I never manage to get a picture, we’ve already started eating before I remember. 😂 And a huge shoutout to Carolyn, who is absolutely amazing! We ask for her every time we visit because she always takes such wonderful care of us. Great food, great service, and consistently a five-star experience. We’ll definitely be back!
