My husband and I were visiting from Texas, and were going to be flying out the next morning from Raleigh. We were looking for a good restaurant that had good reviews near our hotel that is also right by the airport, when we landed on Babymoon Cafe. The environment was great and welcoming, although it was a bit dark. The food was amazing. My husband ordered the Chicken Parmesan, and I had the Penne alla Vodka. Both of us left feeling full and satisfied, but not overly stuffed or bloated. Which I think is a sign of great food made with great ingredients. Definitely recommend stopping by!

For an Italian restaurant, this place struggles with the fundamentals. The spaghetti was overcooked rather than al dente, and the ragu was watery, bland, and tasted more like it came from a jar than a kitchen. The chicken parm was equally disappointing: the chicken was tough, the breadcrumb coating was mushy, it lacked seasoning, and it was smothered in sauce. Our waitress was friendly and attentive overall, although she forgot my son’s lemonade. The restaurant seems to benefit from its convenient location serving the RTP business crowd, but the food simply doesn’t justify the premium prices. At this level, I’d expect well-executed Italian classics, not dishes that felt mediocre at best. If an Italian restaurant can’t deliver on the basics, there’s little reason to give it a second chance—especially with so many better options nearby.

Wedding Catering from Baby Moon Cafe Baby Moon Cafe was the caterer at our wedding in May of 2026. They were absolutely amazing. They were so easy to work with. The manager was available to talk to me whenever I called and very flexible with my changing timeline/table arrangement. The food was so good. We had chicken Parm, fettuccine Alfredo, veggie lasagna, and a dietary option. So many people have reached out to us and asked who our caterer was and if they have a restaurant location. Baby moon cafe staff were on time, they read the schedule with a fine tooth comb and knew exactly the plan. I couldn't have asked for a better caterer or experience. They also had more than enough food.

Initially, this place had catered at my previous job. After the catering experience, I was thrilled to go in person one day whenever I was in the area. The sandwich was delicious and the focaccia used as bread was fresh and flavorful. I was VERY impressed. (This was about 2ish years ago?) We had an appointment nearby, so decided to stop in. I had been raving to my husband about the sandwich previously and wanted him to try the food here. Our server was lovely, and the atmosphere was decent, but I will say it felt a bit small inside. My husband ordered the hot honey chicken sandwich, and I ordered the same sandwich I had previously gotten at the work catered event. However, when the food arrived.. something was off. They no longer served the sandwich I ordered with the amazing focaccia - which is strange since the menu stated it was served with focaccia. Instead, I was greeted with their brioche bun. Thankfully, as I mentioned before our server was lovely and could tell I was shocked by the bread-difference and offered to have it remade with the focaccia. I am so glad they did, because my husbands brioche bun was dry and un-appetizing. While my sandwich was as I remembered with the focaccia switch - my husband was incredibly disappointed with his. He noted it as "one of the worst chicken sandwiches he has ever had" and the "bread was unacceptable". Note: the chicken sandwich is meant to be served with the brioche, not the focaccia like the other sandwiches offered which is more than fine. I know this place is meant for their Italian cuisine. However, for the price... I would avoid their sandwiches entirely - especially now that the focaccia sandwiches (as noted on the menu) are no longer served with focaccia. If we do ever come back, which is unlikely, we will be sure to try the actual Italian food offered. Note to management: do not get rid of the focaccia sandwiches, and if you do, lower the prices because the brioche is not what should be expected from an $17+ dollar sandwich. Also, make sure you update your menu.

Chose to try Babymoon Cafe for my birthday meal. Turned out to be a smart choice on my part. The decor was nice and inviting. The food was phenomenal. Rigatoni Bolonese was magnificent. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her Calzone. My wife wanted meatballs as a side dish and they accommodated us and was very good. And our appetizer of Bruschetta was on point. But what made our meal even better was our waiter Griffin. He was friendly and engaging. And well versed on the food and the restaurant itself. Truly a great representative of what Babymoon Cafe has to offer.
