  Popped in for lunch today while in town. I frequent the Raleigh K38 so I was excited to try out this location. Kristina was on the bar and was awesome, she was extremely willing to talk me through what I was craving to land on just the right fit. The chicken elote rolls (extra crispy with fresh lime per her rec) were absolutely amazing. Thanks Kristina for the recommendation and the yummy marg!

  Found this place on a weekend trip to Atlantic Beach. One of the best meals I've had at the coast in a long time! We started with the trio of dips, each was great, and the Elote dip was unique and yummy. I ordered the shrimp, pineapple and bacon enchiladas and it was one of the most unique tex mex dishes I've ever tried. It was perfect. Great choices for kids too.

  I love this restaurant. The people are great. The food is excellent. I brought my entire family, children and grandchildren. That is a total of 11 people. And they served us quickly. They made accommodations for such a big crowd. It is important to me that my drink never runs out and they made sure the entire group always had something to drink. They checked on our food to make sure it was okay. The atmosphere there is excellent. We're in a beach town and they totally went all in on the coastal theme. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Anytime someone comes to visit me here at the coast. This is where I take them.

  This was my first time at this restaurant, meeting up with some friends at noon on a weekday for lunch. I was very unimpressed with my plate when it arrived. For $15.50, the Cali carne burrito was quite small, mostly tortilla with very little filling inside. The restaurant also didn’t do itself any favors with the plating, since roughly 60% of the plate was left empty. Service was okay, but my drink sat empty for many minutes before a refill was offered. My friends both got ACP which looked much better than what I received.

  We sat outside on the covered deck as recommended, and the waterfront view was absolutely beautiful. The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere, and our service was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the food just missed the mark for us. The rice was bland, and while the dips were good, the rest of the meal lacked the bold, fresh flavors we were expecting. We’re fortunate to have some excellent Mexican restaurants back home that make fresh chips, tortillas, and other items from scratch, so maybe our expectations were a little high. For the price, we just expected more. The location and service made for a nice evening, but the food wasn’t something we’d come back for.
