I rarely leave reviews like this, but the customer service and deceptive signage at this location are completely unacceptable. They have a product tag that explicitly reads '2 for $6' AND 'Buy 2 Get 1 Free' on the exact same piece of paper with no fine print. Naturally, this looks like the deals stack or are a tiered discount. When it rang up differently, the self-checkout employee refused to even look into it other than stating “must be one or the other”. I was extremely polite, told her I didn't want to make an issue out of it, and said I would just take the items back. She didn’t even try to save the purchase. As I was literally restocking the items on the shelf, the evening manager intercepted me. He told me he understood the confusion and promised that if I was still willing to buy them, he would bypass it and take care of it at the register. I walked all the way back to checkout, ready to pay, and he lied. It rang up the exact same way, forcing me to pay extra anyway. While the manager was ringing me up at the wrong price, the employee stood right there whispering to another employee about the situation while giving me the side eye of annoyance. To make it worse, the manager actually gave me a physical, visual representation of what 'buying two items' means, talking down to me like I don't know how to count. It’s not about the $2—it’s about the fact that they wasted 20 minutes of my night, lied to my face to get me back to the register, condescended to me, and refused a simple manual adjustment to fix their own confusing advertisement. Take your business to a store that actually trains its staff to respect customers.
