- DHDavid HarwoodSep 28, 20261.0firm Extremely disappointed with the Bojangles on The Plaza. Ordered at 5:40 PM and waited 40 minutes. In that time 5 people who came in AFTER us ordered and got their food. At 6:20 someone finally asked if we had even ordered. We showed the receipt and they threw the food together - quality was poor. While we waited we noticed customers of another race who came in after us were served right away with no issues. Felt very unfair and unprofessional. I have been in retail over 20 years and the customer service really sucks here everyone walked around looking like they just hated to be there while walking around and drinking drinks. You probably need to retrain your employees to be more professional about customer service regardless of the color of one skin.

We ordered a 9 piece Bo Bites combo and a 5 piece Supreme combo that was at 1:42 pm per my receipt. After about 15 minutes, I went back up and checked on my order. I was told by the girl at the front counter that they were working on the bites that way they’d be fresh. I kinda appreciated that, cause no one likes cold food. However, after seeing the drive thru flowing without delay and the DoorDash orders taking obvious priority, I went back up. At this point it was 2;14pm, 32 minutes since we initially ordered I decided we couldn’t wait any longer and asked the girl at the counter for a refund on our food. I told them we had drank our teas and would pay for them, but not the food we hadn’t gotten or had even been prepared yet. The manager snatched my receipt from me and said “We got stuff going on in the back. “. He handed me 10 dollars and some change, which I assume was for the Bites not the rest of the food, so obviously refunds pissed him off too. I have eaten at Bojangle’s in the city I’ve lived for 52 of the 54 years of my life. I get it that things change, but if I and or my family come in to eat we shouldn’t feel like an inconvenience to the staff.

A thigh has 1/3rd more meat! I even waited for the extra time for fresh chicken to come out and they STILL screwed it up! You are better off going to the Bojangles across from Sam's Club. Friendlier and orders are always Right!
