  Food is always on point, online order is second to none, waitress /receptionist always greets, and your order is correct the first time…my only gripe was the traffic jam at the door when entering establishment.

  It was a terrible experience. My son and walked in and the server said just have a seat We sat dawn and we waited about 8-10 min. 2 servers looked us and never spoke. A family of 5 came in and sat down and the one server went rt to them got their drink order and went and filled the drink order and immediately got their food order. She still looked rt at us and said nothing. That's when we got up and walked out. I heard a lot of good things about Dukes and I was looking forward to the food and experience. Well they shot that down. I guess they didn't need my money. I can not recommend at all.

  It was great... But not $91 great. I have lived in Monroe since 2012. I've never tried Duke's Grill. I was aware that it was a local favorite and that it had a lot of history. I'm friends with people that have lived here for 70 years, and they said the burgers there were fantastic. So I took my wife and my son, and we stopped in for a visit. We got four bacon double cheeseburgers. My wife got a regular cheeseburger. And we got one large fry and one small paper basket of onion rings. My wife got a tea. My boy and I got sodas. The burgers were top notch. The service was outstanding. My wife said they were the best onion rings she had ever had. I will admit that I did not ask about the prices, nor did I worry about it too much beforehand. I just figured that the price of the meal would be comparable to what it would be somewhere else. Four bacon double cheeseburgers, a regular burger, two fries and three drinks was what we ordered. We had chili put on my burgers and we ordered a side of ranch. With prices the way they are today, I figured it would come to $60 or $70. I wouldn't have been stunned by that. But when the ticket came to over $91, I was pretty shocked. The burgers were great - but they weren't $91 great. With tip, we were at almost $110 out the door. It was a great meal. But the pricing certainly took away from my overall experience. We will probably never be back. It's nothing personal, but I just thought the pricing was absolutely ridiculous. $70 plus tip would have been fair. I feel like I got robbed of 20 bucks... just because. I can't recommend the place because it's just not fiscally competitive. I really wish that they would have been more upfront and fair with their pricing. I almost never get sticker shock and this experience kind of made my eyes bulge out of the sockets.

  The staff here is what we love! The burgers are the best in the county and the bologna sandwich is my go to!
