    I want to recognize Tommy at the Mint Hill Showmars for providing outstanding customer service. I accidentally didn’t complete my order properly and didn’t realize it until right before closing time. Instead of turning me away, Tommy took the time to help fix the issue, made sure everything was handled correctly, and went above and beyond to get my order prepared before they closed. It’s rare to find employees who genuinely care about taking care of customers the way he did. His professionalism, positive attitude, and willingness to help turned what could have been a frustrating situation into a great experience. Showmars is fortunate to have someone like Tommy representing their brand. Thank you again for the excellent service. Highly recommend this location.

    My wife and I have eaten at this restaurant for many years and have never had a bad experience but today was absolutely horrible. My wife placed an order using DoorDash for breakfast this morning. The food was delivered, went to add butter and salt to her grits and saw something down in the grits. I thought it was a piece of bacon but when I scooped it out it was a large roach. This is unacceptable. We got a full refund from DoorDash and I called the restaurant and asked for a manager. The young lady that answered said she was the manager and I explained what we had found. While she did apologize, she did not seem to be overly concerned. I did not tell her we had gotten a refund from DoorDash yet she made no mention of giving a refund. I looked at the other reviews for this restaurant and I see one from 6 months from a customer that ate at the restaurant and said they saw roaches at that time. This will be the last time we order or go to this restaurant.

    Ordered and paid for a large 3 piece flounder meal and got 2. 2 very small pieces at that. Dry as ever. Tossed it out. The burger patties now look like a kid’s size. Shrinkflation is really doing us in. Very sad…

    Shomars never ceases to impress! From the folks waiting on you...to the wait staff itself...we were made to feel like royalty. Our glasses were filled w/ water, and they checked on our food orders quickly. All in all, it was all delicious...and thats why we go back, time and time again! Go! Order anything and I guarantee you'll LOVE it!

    I had no idea Showmars sold breakfast. They certainly do not in any near me in SC, so I'm glad that traveling an hour away was worth it. The staff was great, food was on point. I had pancakes with bacon, eggs, and home fries (potatoes with onions & peppers). My friend had fish and grits. Only downside, liver mush was on the menu but not available. This restaurant lets you order off the menu from your table versus ordering at the counter like the Showmars I've visited in SC. We would definitely visit again.
