- MCMaggie CollinsJun 10, 20261.0I travel a lot for work. I’ve been to many different Dunkin’s across many different states. This is BY FAR, the worst one I have ever experienced. Not only did I sit in the drive through for over 30 minutes but they messed up my order so horribly I took one sip and threw it out. As soon as they handed it to me, I knew it was wrong but I didn’t have anymore time to wait. During my 30 minute wait I wanted to leave the drive through and just give up, however the building is so horrible designed that once you’re in line there is virtually no way out. The guy at the window was useless. He stood there and did nothing while the poor lady in the back made every drink by herself and also took the drive through orders. Thank you Dunkin for a waste of time and money.

I usually order my iced coffee with extra cream and some form of syrup, and they have NEVER looked this light or tasted this much like just sugary milk and water. So I went back and told the employee and she politely said she could remake it, but another employee walked by the window and laughed and said “well that’s what she ordered!” I don’t know if she thought I couldn’t hear her but I did and I did not appreciate that. This is why I hate taking food and drinks back because I’m genuinely not trying to hurt anyone’s feelings or insult anyone but I’m paying for this. The first employee gave me the drink and it was a little bit better but still watered down. Again, what happened???? I don’t remember the drinks being this bad

No sorry for the wait, no your order will be right out, nothing but a window wide open and the cashiers back faced towards me just leaned on the counter for 15 minutes. I asked for a refund so I could just go because it was taking so long and she met me with an attitude like that was a horrible suggestion… and told me they are making your sandwhich now. I only ordered 1 ice coffee and 1 breakfast sandwhich, I understand the place was busy which is why I asked to just go at that point but the attitude and no apology no nothing is the worse customer service. I will never go back to the mint hill location, never I my life have I left a google review… ridiculous! Not even mad about the wait time you were busy it’s the customer service, train kids better these days and have standards and expectations for how you treat customers in an obvious situations that should be handled with care and not attitude.

What wasn't fine was how the employee working the drive-thru aggressively informed me that she could not cancel the order on her end and that I needed to call customer service myself. So I sat there for a few minutes, completely unacknowledged, while she and other employees gossiped, which I recorded. I then had to pull around and place an entirely separate order, paying again, without ever receiving a cancellation confirmation or refund for the matcha order. She only began acting pleasant once she heard customer service on my speakerphone. Absolutely unacceptable.
