We these a Front Porch Sunday awhile back and just got around to eating them and seriously, 10/10 recommend the tomato, basil and mozzarella pierogis! I’m sure the others are just as amazing. They are mouthwatering and I already want more! Love a good small business.

So good! Can eat these every single day. You don't need to like pierogies to enjoy them!

We stumbled upon Baba & Pop's Pierogi's at the Uptown Farmer's Market one morning. They were sampling their pork pierogi's, and we were immediately hooked! If you buy 3 or more, you get a discount, so we decided to go with the pork, buffalo chicken, and tomato basil mozzarella pierogi's.
We put the pierogi's in the freezer until we were ready to cook them. We were going to have them for dinner, and the first time cooking them, I cooked what we wanted together in a pan. A little advice - start with the meat ones first as they take longer to cook, before adding the others to the pan. Otherwise, very easy to prepare.
All three pierogi's were amazing, but our favorite was the tomato basil mozzarella as it was full of multiple flavors in one bite, plus it had a lot of gooey cheese!
We have already tracked them down again at the Southend Farmer's Market to restock our freezer with more pierogi's. I do hope they offer more flavors in the future - maybe a spinach and feta one or even teaming up with one of the local pimento cheese companies!
I highly recommend Baba & Pop's if you see them at any of the farmer's markets around Charlotte.

What's the story behind Due North Pierogi Company?
The tradition of making pierogi came to our family from the old country when our great-grandparents emigrated from Europe about 100 years ago and settled in the Great Lakes region. No matter where our family has moved over the years, making and eating pierogi has always pointed our thoughts back to where we came from. We use great-grandma's original dough recipe to create pierogi that remind people of home – wherever that may be.
