  If I could give -1 star, I would. This was by far the worst Chipotle experience I've ever had, from start to finish. First, I asked them to use the lettuce they normally add at the end as a base for my bowl, with everything else on top as usual. A simple, reasonable request, but I had to insist multiple times before they even accepted that it was possible. Then, they refused to provide a cup for water. They had no bottled water available either, so I was forced to buy a soda cup just to get water. Not everyone drinks soda with their meal, this is completely unacceptable. The staff's attitude throughout was rude and dismissive. The chicken was at least four times saltier than normal. When I brought this to the attention of the employee at the counter, she acted as if it were completely normal and brushed me off. To make matters worse, I witnessed what I can only describe as discriminatory treatment. The customer in front of me asked for double rice and double chicken, and was charged for a regular bowl with no extra fees, no pushback, no problem. Yet we couldn't even get a cup of water, and they refused to even fill up the cup with water so they can make sure it was only water. I felt discriminated against throughout this entire visit. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

  This location is incredibly bad… I’m not sure what’s going on here. Every time I’ve shown up in the past month something is wrong. The first time there were employees working but they were yelling out “ONLINE ORDERS ONLY GUYS!” when I walked in so I placed an online order, which I received 30mins later. No urgency, dirty floors and tables, and unfriendly staff. There were probably 20+ people in there waiting for their orders with me. The second time I placed an online order, picked it up, got home and unpacked it to find the bowls were half-full, and missing components of the meal and utensils. Tonight (7pm) I came here to eat to discover no one inside with the doors locked, no notice anywhere stating an early close. All lights are on and I’m here with multiple other people who placed online orders and are waiting for their food… very bizarre. There are other locations in the area so avoid this one ya’ll - bad juju.

  Previous experiences: only able to online order, poor service, slow, bowls are half full. Today’s experience - 7:03pm and doors are locked and no one is there.

  I visited the Matthews, NC location recently with my family. I went through the order line and when I went to check out, I mentioned to the associate that I would like 2 drink cups and 2 water cups. She said that per her general manager, they are now charging for water cups since customers were getting water cups and filling up with soda. I was charged full price for tap water. That is ridiculous and will not go back to this location if they keep this policy. It is not my fault they can't police what customers are putting in their water cups.

  Well, only a few months ago, I complained about this so called restaurant. This past Sunday, like many, I went in and stood in line. As I'm waiting I see people everywhere except where they are suppose to be. Can you guess where that could be?..... HELPING THE CUSTOMER !!!!!!!!! I always get a chicken bowl, however, this time they were out of black beans. the time before that they had a sign up saying "We can't give double portion of chicken today" , the time after that they were out of Sour Cream. What?!!!!! As a Chef myself, I'm trying to understand this because in the same parking lot where this place is located is a Harris Teeter. Duh! You would think someone would be bright enough to figure this out. The people are not professional and they only give you a small portion. So, as a restaurant person, I've tried giving them the benefit of the doubt however, nothing is changing. Doesn't look like corporate cares so why should the community? I say please stay away from chipotle and go somewhere else. Less stress for sure. I'm certainly taking my money somewhere else. TODAY!!!
