Was seated 545, solo, small booth by the bar, place was not packed empty booths and tables around, after 15 minutes of waitress not even coming to take drink order or saying it would be a couple minutes, just left and placed a Togo order online. After reading some of the reviews about Burt food having to be sent back, I’m wondering if this Togo order was even a good idea…we will see smh

“Excellent experience! I had barely parked or even had the opportunity to alert the staff before my dinner was already being delivered. The service was fast, and everything was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious. Thank you for such great service and a wonderful meal!

Been here probably over a dozen times I keep coming back because of the limited options in the area. Food is good, if you enjoy being served your entree first and baked potato/fries 15 minutes later… that has happened numerous times. It’s a hit or miss if they bother to get you refills or not. Many times I’ve order they have forgot specific things like “no onions” or “can you bring ranch”. For the price of outback isn’t worth it to come out dissatisfied with a cold baked potato, fries, or whatever side I’ve ordered. I’ll never eat because they forgot to bring it out to me before I finished my entire other meal again this has happened more than 3 times. I always give it another chance but probably won’t anymore the customer service is usually pretty scare I’ve had to walk back to the kitchen to even ask for refills before because once they bring your plate out you won’t see them again. I get it when it’s crazy busy but I’ve been there when only 10-15 tables were full and it was the same dissatisfying service.

So my husband and I were starving and since we were staying at the Marriott a mile away, we decided to try the nearby Lumberton Outback’s. The first thing we noticed were the filthy entrance doors to the restaurant. It looked like they hadn’t been wiped down in weeks. That should’ve been our exit ticket, but like I said, we were ravenous from our long road trip, and entered the establishment anyway. Upon entering, our eyes kept gravitating toward the dirty napkins, dirty utensils, and dropped food all over the floor of the restaurant. Again, we should have ran for the hills, but like I said, we were starving. So, we were seated and we both ordered the combo of an eight ounce sirloin steak and coconut shrimp. We ordered the steak medium rare, and it came out like shoe leather. In addition, the coconut shrimp were so overly breaded and burnt that we had to remove the entire breaded part for it to be edible. The loaded baked potato, caesar salad, and the bread they put on the table was delicious though. Sadly, this establishment needs to be managed properly, which it is not! Unfortunately, we will not be dining at this place on our next road trip from NY to Florida or ever!!! There are many other choices of restaurants in Lumberton. Do yourself a favor and skip this establishment!

We went on a Saturday afternoon 2 hrs after opening. There were empty beer bottles and soda cans on the outdoor seating area from night before. Our party of 9 was seated right away. First off they didn't have any draft beer and apparently only 1 bottle of Bud cold the rest were room temp and had to be packed in ice. Our blooming onions arrived but they didn't have the little plates so we all kind of stood around leaning into the round tables to eat. When we ordered our steaks we wuickly found out they were out of sauteed mushrooms, 8 of us wanted them. When we went to pay they had forgotten to put batteries in the Ziosk so we had to wait around while they fixed it and set it up with our bill. I have been to many many Outbacks up and down the East coast, the Lumberton location is by far the worst I've visited. Service was great, food and atmosphere where lacking. Very, very poorly managed. I can see why it was dead on a Saturday afternoon!
