We've been there 3 times in the past 2 months. 2 of the three were not worthy of the price. This past week- when we came in..it wasn't busy at all. No line...but we were told there were no tables and we could only sit at the bar (unless we wanted to wait ??) The bartender was very nice. We ordered 2 filets wrapped in bacon -one medium rare and one medium plus grilled shrimp. We were served our salads and had to ask for rolls. Our order was brought out. The bacon around my filet was raw. I cut into the first small side and it was raw. The filet ordered medium was medium rare. The raw steak was cut into a few more times to see if there was anything I could eat. We kept looking around for someone to help us. I put my filet on my bread plate...it wasn't edible. We waited 5 minutes and finally another waiter standing over by the kitchen came over to us. He asked if everything was ok and we explained. He took the steaks back. Now mind you a older guy with a dark shirt walking around talking to everyone at the bar (a manager) looked at us twice and walked into the kitchen. We waited another 10 minutes. We assumed they were cooking 2 new steaks. HAHA nope...I got my medium rare steak back...hard as a rock and dry as heck. The medium steak was just as bad...but he was so hungry he ate it anyway. They should have taken the entire meal off our bill. It was so disappointing. Yes, they adjusted the bill by $25...but when you are being billed $75 ...you expect your filets and your meal to be better than that. This is how they treat their Landry Select Customers?

This was our first visit and we really enjoyed it! The rolls were delicious and they cooked my steak blue rare just like I like it. The food was perfect and definitely worth the price! The best part was our wonderful server, Ashia. She was so sweet and beyond thorough making sure all our food would be exactly how we wanted it. My mom doesn't hear well and it meant a lot that Ashia spoke clearly and looked at her when she was talking. She was amazing! Overall....a great dining experience!

For the first time ever, my hubby and I had a truly disappointing experience at Saltgrass. This is actually one of our go-to spots for out-of-town guests because, historically, we could always count on a great meal and great service. Unfortunately, this visit was a completely different story. We started with the spinach artichoke dip, which arrived cold and runny. Not exactly the warm, cheesy welcome we were expecting. Then came the rib combo with grilled shrimp and smoky baked mac and cheese. The only thing "smoking" about the mac and cheese was our disappointment. It was cold, with not a melted piece of cheese in sight. A message to the mighty corporate team that happened to be there during our visit: please change it back! Whatever has changed in the kitchen isn't working. The bright spot of the evening was our server, Becky. She was outstanding, professional, attentive, and checked on us regularly. She did everything right and provided the level of service we've come to expect from Saltgrass. Sadly, the food wasn't the only issue. The bathrooms were also in rough shape. Anyone who frequents this establishment knows that's not typical, which made the whole experience even more surprising. This didn't feel like the same Saltgrass we've enjoyed for years. It honestly seemed like a different kitchen and a different standard altogether. We're hoping this was just an off night, but we'll be taking a break before coming back.

A thoroughly enjoyable birthday celebration. The food was excellent. The steaks and salmon were perfectly cooked. Even the kiddos raved about the pizza and burger. The service however was top tier. We ordered the yummy carrot cake to celebrate and without hesitation, Jessica, our server, went to her car to get a birthday candle to make it special! Jessica was so pleasant, attentive and had great suggestions. This is rapidly becoming one of our favorite restaurants.

We had friends come to town for the weekend and my husband and I had very much enjoyed a meal at Saltgrass the month before. We made a reservation for this past Friday night. When we got there there were many empty tables in the bar area which is where we made our reservation for. We proceeded to wait probably 30 minutes before we were seated, even having a reservation. Our friends decided that they wanted to have the prime rib and we were told that they were already sold out at 6:30. That was the first disappointment of the evening. Food came out extremely slow and once we did receive our beef tenderloins we were shocked at the size. Our friend ordered a 6 oz and we ordered a 9 oz. His looked more like a 4 oz and ours look more like 6 to 7 oz. Definitely was not what was advertised on the menu. Both steaks were overcooked and under seasoned. We did tell the waitress that the steaks were overcooked but we could not wait for another one to be redone because we had a prior engagement that we needed to get to and we had already been there close to 2 hours at that point. No manager was ever called over to our table and there were two in the bar area walking around. Again, not the experience that we were hoping for that night, especially having friends come to town. 🤢
