  Our server Jessica R., was absolutely GREAT! It was based upon her interaction that I would visit again sooner rather than later. The food was delicious! The Old Fashioned right on the mark…lol Her steak cut recommendations were right on point. One of the best experiences I had at a restaurant in a very longtime. A great experience since it was my nephew’s first time visiting North Carolina. We both enjoyed our entire experience at the steakhouse.

  That bourbon bacon was delicious, highly recommend it. The brisket burger was also quite tasty. I truly enjoyed the music playing and the atmosphere as well. So good food, nice place and I’m saving the best for last. Casey gave me exceptional service and took fantastic care of me. This was my first visit to a Saltgrass Steakhouse and Casey made me feel quite welcome. Not only did she have great recommendations, but she was fast and attentive to all my dining needs. Thanks, y’all. This was a great lunch visit

  On October 3, 2026, we were visiting Raleigh, NC from Houston, TX and placed an online takeout order totaling $161.46 from Saltgrass Steak House in Knightdale, NC. When we arrived to pick up our order, the staff did not verify the order with us, and we discovered that we were missing one appetizer and one entrée. We went back inside to let them know, and it took approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes for them to prepare the missing items. After driving approximately 30 minutes back to our hotel, we discovered that we were still missing another entrée. We called the restaurant and asked to speak with a manager. We were placed on hold for 51 minutes, until the restaurant closed, and no one ever returned to the phone. The following day, when the restaurant reopened, I contacted them again to explain the situation and express my concerns about the experience. The manager told me that he would issue a credit for the money we spent and would call me back to confirm once the credit had been processed. It has now been two days, and I have received neither the promised credit nor any follow-up communication from the restaurant. This entire experience was extremely frustrating and unacceptable. We paid $161.46 for an order that was incomplete, spent an additional 1 hour and 15 minutes waiting for missing food, drove 30 minutes back to our hotel, and then had to spend nearly another hour trying to reach a manager. Despite being promised a refund, there has still been no resolution or communication. The level of customer service we received was extremely disappointing. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this location and hope management takes this matter seriously and addresses the issues with their staff and customers.

  Not the greatest experience. We always had a good experience here. This was a little different. We were seated promptly and waitress was very polite. There was a bread issue of lunch staff not prepping enough. We were understanding. Ordered our drinks and food. My beer was not correct. Initially but fixed. Food came. Mac n cheese was cold barely warm. Orders medium temp steak.it was way overcooked and dried out. I ordered medium it was MW to well done. We sent the mac n cheese back and it was worse! At that point we gave up on the meal and chalked to hopefully a bad night for staff. No manager came to check on us which was disappointing. The mac n cheese was taken off the bill.

  One of our wait staff mentioned that the restaurant would be reducing the hours of availability to close earlier. Apparently, a "corporate representative" happened to be on site at the time. We told the rep that we had been weekly diners there for the last 6 years, but she didn't seem at all appreciative of this information, and instead bothered, as if we were taking up her time. When we asked her about expanding their evening hours instead, she said "i don't know what corporate will decide, but we are definitely NOT moving in that direction." She appeared annoyed that we were even there. When we said that many Raleigh restaurants were moving toward extended evening hours, she responded "Good luck in Raleigh.." No need to return to Saltgrass if that is the Corporate attitude...
