  This is not a fancy, white napkin tucked neatly in your lap with soft music playing in the background kind of place. And it’s exactly the way we like it! We traveled 9 hrs from NY and 7 hrs from SC for a family vacation, and for months my sister and I planned to specifically go here for the Wednesday night buffet. 5 adults and a 1 yr old arrived 30 minutes before open and people were already waiting. We got in quickly, placed our drink orders, and then stood in line for the buffet. The line moved quickly and after the initial 1st pass, there was no wait for 2nds or 3rds. Our waitress (I’m sorry- I forget her name) was so nice and very attentive. The crab was plentiful and always fresh. So many different kinds we never tried before. There were clams and scallops. Shrimp and different fare that we didn’t even try because we made a spectacle of ourselves with mountains of crab legs. My dad enjoyed a few lobster tails on top of it. The price may seem a little high for those that aren’t aware of how much crab actually costs. Trust the price is more than fair, especially for a well put together, all you can eat buffet. We 1000% would return and may plan a short trip specifically to make sure we hit the buffet again. I would recommend Jimmy’s to any crab legs lover!!

  Every time we come to Nags Head, Jimmy's is our go-to dinner spot! My husband and I are completely obsessed and have already been here twice this week. The food is always amazing, the service is excellent, and it's consistently packed—which says it all. Today we came for the all-you-can-eat lobster tails, and our waitress was incredible. She kept bringing fresh lobster tails to our table as soon as we finished them, checked on us constantly, and made sure we always had everything we needed. The waiter we had on Friday was just as amazing, so it's clear the great service here is consistent. We've tried several other restaurants in the area, and nothing compares to Jimmy's. We're in town for the rest of the week and will probably be back again before we leave!

  Food and service both were amazing. Went on a Wednesday where they have 10+ different kinds of crab legs! The waiter was very personable and efficient at his job & had a great personality. My main complaint about this place however is how crowded and loud it is. I believe they prioritize making as much money as possible instead of creating a family / restaurant atmosphere. There was most definitely 200+ people in the small building. Ontop of that there was constantly people refilling the buffet who would practically push you out of the way without using their manners.

  It was wild crab Wednesday, so many different types of crab legs/claws and lobster tails along with other buffet items the price was well worth it! The inside is tight to get around especially the line for the crab and lobster side but the line does move fairly quickly and they replenish everything before it runs out. If you don’t eat crab or lobster I would suggest trying this place on a different night, it was around $70 per person but 10 types of crab and lobster make it worth it.

  Was recently vacationing in Kitty Hawk with my husband and autistic son and decided to try out this seafood buffet. With it being "Wild Wednesday" there was a huge line. I was worried since my son does not do well waiting in lines. The line moved quickly and when I mentioned that I was worried about seating, the hostess saved us an inside table. The waiter gave me tips so that I could get my son's food quickly since he wasn't getting crab. The crab line moved surprisingly quickly. My husband ate mainly crab, I focused on the lobster and shrimp, and my son at the chicken nuggets/corn/rolls/cookies. Overall we had a great experience thanks to the amazing staff! Freshest and fastest moving buffet lines I've ever seen.
