I’m writing to share my disappointment with the service and food quality at my local McDonald’s in Jamestown. Over the past two years, it feels like something has changed, and the experience has gone downhill.
Most visits, I’m asked to pull into a spot and wait, even when there is little or no line. Tonight around 6:00, there was no one in line, yet I still waited 7 minutes after being asked to pull forward. When I received my usual 2C meal, both large fry containers were only half full, and the fries were cold, soggy, really greasy, and the burger only warm. So what was I waiting for?? My Quarter Pounder had very little mayo and ketchup, only a few pieces of lettuce, and the burger was very dark seared on both sides.
I don’t like to complain, but this has become a repeated frustration. My two young children love McDonald’s, so we visit often, but the long waits and inconsistent quality have become disappointing. Years ago, this location felt like a well-oiled machine, and I used to say that to friends. Unfortunately, that is no longer the experience.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously and that improvements can be made. I am very disappointed.
