  My dear friends from the mountains came to Jacksonville. I suggested we go to Sonic so the kids could play on their kiddy playground..... THEY DONT HAVE ONE! 😂. We at at the picnic tables. It was raining, I love the rain. It was a rather large order (3 triple burgers+ 3 kid orders+ tots and fries and drinks!) It took a few minutes and the server was sweet, professional and personable! The large order was spot on! Everything was delicious! I ordered some Sundae's and a shake after we all ate. Again, a different server was just as professional and personable! The Manager or owner was interviewing a well dressed young man at the table next to ours. The owner?/Manager? was very professional when I had an issue with my kiosk. He mentioned they were short handed with staff. I wish I lived closer! I would love to work here! I wonder if he operates the Sonic in New Bern? Sonic, thanks for a great meal and memorable time with my friends today! I hope to eat here again soon!!

  I stopped here for drinks, I pressed the button to ask a question about getting a diet cherry slush since the diet option was only listed as an add on in the app. She couldn't hear me and said she'd be out, never came out. They brought me the wrong order out (someones doordash order), did not give me a chance to ask about the diet cherry and then made me recite my order to her before handing me my correct order. The service and attitude is appalling. Slushies were decent, although my diabetic husband did not receive diet in the end 🤪 I'll stick to the Western Sonic location.

  They took almost 20 minutes to bring it out and did not answer the button. When my sister got out to see what the problem was, they claimed our order JUST popped up in the kitchen. She handed it to her 2 minutes later. And the tea tastes like they haven't washed the urn in a few days.
