I ordered a chicken wrap (almost 10 dollars), and it had less chicken in it than any chicken meal I've ever ordered. Literally maybe 2 or 3 bites has chicken and 90 percent of the wrap is just lettuce for the most part. So I'm genuinely paying almost 10 dollars for mostly lettuce. This wasn't a one-off thing either because I've ordered it 3 times just to be sure this is truly their normal way of preparing these. Complete ripoff, no more chick-fil-a for me personally.

Placed large catering order day before I was supposed to pick it up. They assured me it would be ready on time. I showed up and not only was it 30 min late, they also did not have chicken nugget boxes assembled that they assured me they would have taken care of. Team lead Darby was rude when I questioned her about it. I was a little frustrated but in no way rude whatsoever when I asked her for the manager’s name. She stood there looking at me like she didn’t have a clue how to handle a simple service issue. All she had to do was apologize and say she would have her manager reach out but instead she chose to take things personally and was rude to me. This Chick Fil A has gone downhill since it opened. Workers were standing around laughing with each other while line was backed up and barely moving. Never seen it this bad before. The Team Lead needs to be trained on how to run the store while the manager is away because this was a horrible experience. I contacted corporate and they profusely apologized for the experience I had and assured me someone would contact me in next 48 hours with a follow up and compensation for this disaster. Still dumbfounded that this Chick Fil A location has gotten this bad. Do not recommended placing catering orders from this location!

Dear Mr. Dean Sandbo Owner, I am writing to bring to your attention an interaction I had at your Chick-fil-A restaurant in Indian Trail on today's date at approximately 1:40-1:45 p.m. I was in the drive-thru in full police uniform with my external vest carrier visible in the passenger seat, displaying my metal badge. After placing my order, the employee assisting me noticed my uniform. To avoid any confusion since i work in another jurisdiction, I voluntarily offered to present my North Carolina state-issued law enforcement identification. The employee then asked a Director, whom I understood to be Debby (white female wearing a green shirt), how to apply the law enforcement discount. When Debby came to the window, the interaction became uncomfortable and intimidating. Although I had already offered to provide my official law enforcement credentials, she repeatedly questioned where I worked. I again offered to show my state-issued identification. She then asked whether I carried a firearm. To answer her question, I showed her my agency-issued duty weapon, which I was lawfully carrying while in uniform. Debby then stated that the restaurant only provides discounts to local officers who are willing to get out of their vehicles and assist if something were to happen. I responded that I have taken an oath to protect and serve the public regardless of jurisdiction. She ultimately stated that she would honor the discount "this one time," but indicated that it would not be extended to me in the future. I left the restaurant feeling embarrassed, humiliated, and deeply disappointed. What should have been a simple transaction became an experience where I felt that my integrity and professional status were questioned despite being in full uniform and offering official identification from the beginning. Law enforcement officers routinely assist outside their employing jurisdiction when emergencies arise or when immediate action is necessary to protect life. Suggesting that an officer's willingness to help depends solely on where they work does not reflect the commitment that many of us make every day. I am not writing to seek free food or special treatment. Rather, I believe this situation warrants review because no customer particularly someone who has volunteered to verify their credentials should be made to feel distrusted or publicly embarrassed in front of other patrons. I was so upset that I did not eat the meal, I had paid for. I respectfully ask that you review this incident, speak with the employees involved, and clarify the restaurant's policy regarding law enforcement discounts so that it is applied consistently and respectfully. Thank you for taking the time to read my concerns.
