Tonight we celebrated a Davidson Graduation at this fine establishment. Our reservations were at 5 and we were greeted by a welcoming warm staff. We had a female server named Gina who went above and beyond. She made excellent food recommendations and her service was outstanding. The family ate the Tomahawk steak along with seafood entrees. The food was amazing! A must try is the lobster bisque - homemade!

I enjoyed my Caesar salad w anchovies a lot but I gave the food a 3 because my friends said their burgers were just okay but not great. The restaurant manager was extremely nice and made sure that we had a good experience despite an issue w our dessert taking an extended period of time to come out. The only thing I would add is that we were charged for bread which was a surprise. When the waitress offered to bring us bread we assumed it was complimentary. In my experience waiters don’t offer to bring food that isn’t free if it isn’t specifically requested. She never indicated that it would be a separate charge and she explained when we got the bill that offering breast is part of what they are trained to do as servers there. We didn’t make a fuss about it but I felt it important to mention here so that you aren’t surprised as well!

A few days late, but still worth posting about. My partner and I went for “just a good Thursday” dinner. We were fortunate to be placed in Cameron’s section and I genuinely don’t know if I’ve ever had a better server. He was knowledgeable, attentive, had a great attitude, and was fun to chat with. I also need to shout out the manager Josh - fortunately for us, it was still pretty quiet in the restaurant shortly after opening, but I can only assume he would be equally as thoughtful and engaged had the restaurant been packed. The drinks, steaks, and above and beyond service will continue to keep us coming back!

We had my graduation dinner here. The entire experience was absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere was wonderful. We ordered a wide array of dishes and all of us, even the pickiest eaters in our group, could not get over how good the food was! Our server was Tatianna was incredibly professional but also so personable and made us feel comfortable. She was knowledgeable about the menu and wine & cocktail selections. Another server and the manager checked in on us as well, and were similarly great. I felt that this dinner was truly an experience and a celebration. So glad we chose this place. We do not live nearby but I would absolutely come back here for a special occasion. 5 stars all around! :)

Not our first visit to this guaranteed-to-please spot but this work-fun dinner on a Sunday evening turned into one of those meals you keep thinking about. From the first bite of bread to the last sip of coffee, The Link & Pin genuinely wowed a table of people who are not easy to impress. For starters, we had shrimp cocktail, wings, kale salad and bread. The shrimp cocktail was a perfectly executed classic. The wings? I don't know what kind of magic they worked on those babies. The kale salad? I've eaten a lot of kale in my life, and this was hands down the most tender, delicately flavored, texture-rich version I've ever had. Think you don't like kale? Let the Link & Pin change your mind. And then there was the bread: those rolls were like a warm hug! The perfect balance of crisp crust and pillowy interior, finished with a seasoning that caused eyes to open wide! The mahi was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The lobster roll had a picky ex-Long Islander licking her fingers - and that's not a bar you clear easily! The bison steak, initially ordered with a little hesitation, was met with nothing but delight from the very happy person who had it. I'm not a big meat person so my dinner was the General Tso's cauliflower: imaginative, original, and flat-out amazing. Every plate was perfectly seasoned, generously portioned, and visually stunning. The service was the kind that turns an already great meal into something memorable. Our server and the rest of the team greeted us with genuine warmth and kept that energy going all night. Water and beverage glasses were never empty, fresh silverware appeared with every course, and dietary needs were handled with thoughtful care. Everyone was friendly, attentive (without being "stuffy"!) and clearly taking pride in the experience they were creating for us. The pacing between courses was spot on, giving us time to actually enjoy each dish and each other's company. We closed out with freshly brewed coffee and warm donuts that were - I am convinced - sprinkled with pixie dust! Don't let the easy-going vibe fool you: The Link & Pin can go toe-to-toe with any of the Queen City's finest steakhouses and dining rooms, while still feeling like a place you can come as you are on a random Tuesday! Make a reservation. And try the kale. And the bread. And the donuts. You get the idea.😋
