  The best nachos appetizer I've ever eaten! It's huge and tasty and 2 or 3 people can share . NOT EXAGGERATING. HUGE PORTIONS. I highly recommend!

  I had the shrimp quesadilla and sweet potato fries! It was so good. I definitely will be back for the grouper tacos. Mark (I think that's the name) was great attentive and informative! Thanks for the great first experience! 🙂 😋

  Great service and great team. I came here after a medical procedure I got done since this location is near a hospital. Grace and Leah made my first time experience warm and welcoming. Food was delicious, they have so many options in their menu. I like the quality of the food. I'd come back.

  My family and I had a very disappointing experience at Duckworth’s in Huntersville. We specifically chose this location because we had family visiting from out of town, and my partner’s mom has a gluten allergy. We’ve visited Duckworth’s before because they offer a great gluten-free menu, and in the past we’ve had good experiences. That’s exactly why we chose to bring our family here. Unfortunately, this visit was one of the worst restaurant experiences we’ve had in a long time. After being seated, we waited well over 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged our table or took our drink order. Once we finally received our drinks and placed our food order, we waited another 30 minutes without any food arriving. During that time, our drinks became completely empty, yet no one stopped by to refill them, check on us, or even give us an update on why our food was taking so long. What made the experience even more frustrating was that our server appeared far more interested in being on her phone and checking her makeup than paying attention to her tables. Meanwhile, our table was being completely overlooked. The restaurant wasn’t even busy. Early in our visit, a manager came by and introduced himself, saying that if we had any issues to let him know. Ironically, that ended up being exactly what happened. After waiting for such an extended period with no food, empty drinks, and no communication whatsoever, we finally decided we had enough. We let the staff know we were leaving because the experience had already put a damper on what was supposed to be a nice meal with family visiting from out of town. To their credit, they offered to comp our entire meal. However, by that point it wasn’t about the cost. We weren’t interested in waiting any longer. We had already invested nearly an hour of our time with nothing to show for it except empty glasses and frustration. A free meal doesn’t give us back the time we lost or salvage an experience that had already gone so poorly. The most disappointing part is that we know Duckworth’s is capable of better. We’ve eaten here before specifically because of the excellent gluten-free options, and we’ve always enjoyed those visits. That’s what made this experience so surprising. Had someone simply communicated with us, apologized for the delay, kept our drinks filled, or checked in periodically, we probably would have stayed. Instead, we felt forgotten. I don’t normally leave negative reviews, but I hope management takes this seriously. Good food and a great gluten-free menu are important, but they’re only part of the dining experience. Customer service, communication, and attentiveness matter just as much. Sadly, this visit missed the mark in every one of those areas. Also maybe bring back gluten free burger buns.
