  Yesterday I was in the area with my puppy! I was a happy experience bringing happy memories from back in the early 2000 in Charlotte at the Myers Park the Caribou Coffee!   Placed an online order. Came in. Mine is the first on the screen. Two drinks. Cashier is taking the order of 4 people that takes approximately 5 minutes after I get there. Cashier gets done with their order. Halfway makes mine and then sets them aside and makes all the drinks for the other people as I’m standing there waiting. Then had to wait 5 more minutes after they left to get my order. Ridiculous but honestly every caribou lacks in this area. I literally only come here because the coffee is so good and because of the sugar free options. Horrible training I assume. The cashier was sweet just not great at multitasking.

  I recently went to this location before I went to a Pilates class just upstairs. I had been to Caribou coffee before in Minnesota and liked it, and I have to say that this one was even better because an employee of yours named Maddox. I had a question because I was super tired and I work in healthcare (after a long day and week) and I needed something really strong to get me through a Pilates class… And he had so much energy, he’s so personable, and he had a great suggestion - not only was it delicious but it also helped wake me up! It’s rare these days in the service industry to find someone so personable and fun to talk to. Reminded me of the mid-2000s growing up where you could actually have a conversation with people in hospitality. Maddox you’ll go far in life and thank you for turning a coffee trip into something so precious! I hope you get a raise! You deserve it and Caribou team, you are lucky to work with someone with such a great personality and people skills. Thank you Maddox!

  The staff here is pretty friendly and there is a good atmosphere for people who drop in to get work done. The coffee is decent however, I’ve been pretty disappointed in the matcha here. I’ve ordered more than once and noticed that the preparation of the matcha, the quality and the milk to matcha ratios are way off. The drink is milk with a “barely there” matcha taste and pale green color. You can pay extra for “additional” matcha which really equates to a normal serving and tastes somewhat better. Still not “good” or “high” quality. Moral of the story, if you want a quality matcha drink… look elsewhere. Side note, the bathrooms here consistently need attention (yikes).

  Awesome menu, but the space here really stands out. Plenty of seating from tables to couches.
