My wife and I celebrate our birthdays (same day) and anniversary (same day) every year. We decided to try Oak in Highlands this year and they blew us away. Best seating in the house, unbelievable attention including table cards indicating our celebrations. It doesn’t get better than this. On top of this the best steak and sides I’ve had in years. Rich the manager and Miranda our master waiter were over the top kind and helpful. We’ll be back next year for sure. Maybe next week…

From the moment we arrived, Marissa greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel welcome. Despite how busy Oak was, she was able to find us a table, which we greatly appreciated. The chef did an outstanding job with the trout dish, which was absolutely delicious. Our server, Chip, was charming, attentive, and knowledgeable, helping us navigate the menu with ease. Rich, the manager, also took the time to visit our table and ensure we were enjoying our experience, making us feel genuinely valued as guests.
The exceptional hospitality and attention to detail from the entire team made our visit truly memorable. Oak has created a wonderful dining experience, and if every restaurant had a staff like this, dining out would always be a pleasure.

Came for a girls night , very excited after long anticipating the chefs night and under the stars. However, when we arrived we found out the $100+ pp dinner was just a small taco buffet . So we went upstairs, without refund. When we asked for our surprise birthday cake to be brought upstairs , the same man who was downstairs conducting the “ special dinner”- came up in front of the whole group asking about the cake to be moved - including the obvious birthday girl we were trying to surprise - in LENGTH. The bartender was even up there with her hands on her head shaking-
Have loved OAK steakhouse for a long time , and as a multi generational person to visit Highlands was beyond embarrassed to bring friends to this place on our first night raving about the experience - very sad about our experience .
