- PAPeta AllenJun 17, 20261.0I had a very disappointing experience at Hangry Joe's. The restaurant's posted hours indicated they were open until 3:00 AM, but when I arrived around 2:00 AM, they were refusing to serve customers. The cook, who said his name was Joe, was rude and unprofessional when I asked about the hours. Another employee, Jay, was also dismissive and stated that he didn't control what happened behind the counter. He was cleaning the lobby while customers were being turned away. There was also a woman in the lobby who appeared to be Jay's mother. She stated that she was off the clock, but it was confusing to see non-working individuals present while customers were being denied service during posted business hours. If the restaurant plans to stop serving before closing time, the posted hours should accurately reflect that. Customers shouldn't drive out expecting service only to be turned away and treated rudely. Better communication and customer service would go a long way.
