Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Absolutely outstanding experience at Whataburger! The employees were incredibly friendly, hardworking, and attentive from the moment we walked in. You can really tell the staff takes pride in providing great customer service. The management deserves a huge shoutout as well — everything was organized, clean, and running smoothly even during a busy time. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious. Keep up the amazing work!

Too expensive. A brisket sandwich with no sides is $14?? We got the taco trio, a brisket burger special with a side and a single brisket sandwich, add a side. The taco trio seemed the best value. Three tortillas abundantly filled with brisket, chicken, and pulled pork. Comes with pico de Gallo and a side. $15. The 'brisket burger does not have brisket on it - the burger is just smoked. This came with a side, but they didn't tell me that - they just brought me hush puppies. With a burger? $15. Brisket sandwich $14, strawberry crisp x 2 $10 (I do not recommend). With drink, tax and credit card fee, total $66. Plus $10 tip. $76 for lunch on a Saturday afternoon for 2 people with a sandwich to go.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but people need to be warned about this location. My experience at Whataburger was absolutely disgusting. Within about 48 hours of eating there, I became extremely sick, and based on the condition of the restaurant and the food I was served, I fully believe it was due to cross-contamination, poor cleanliness, undercooked meat, and employees clearly not following proper hygiene practices.
This is a brand-new establishment, which makes it even more shocking. The burger was hands down the worst burger I’ve ever eaten in my life. The entire experience felt careless and unsanitary from start to finish.
Management seriously needs to step in, weed out the employees who can’t do the job correctly, retrain the staff immediately, or shut the place down until basic food safety standards can be followed. Nobody should get sick from eating a burger.
I will never eat at another Whataburger again after this experience.

Charbroil burger, crispy onion rings with actual full real onions all round. The burger and onions rings are jot and delicious. I went through drive thru. Traveled a distance of 30 miles. The onion rings were still hot and delicious. A variety of dipping sauces.
You do get your monies worth. Open 23hrs. I went after my appointment. 10am. The employees were helpful and they were quick in service and gave me my food with a smile.

The first couple months of this store being open was a good experience. But they’ve gradually gotten worse and worse. Today I ordered a Whataburger original sandwich with cheese, Mustard, ketchup, and peppers sauce. I asked for no lettuce no tomato. When I got home, I had a plain burger with lettuce on it. The one thing I asked them for, lettuce, they gave me. All the other things they asked for they didn’t give me. So when I called back and asked to speak to someone and management, they said, you’ll have to call back some other time we’re on lunch. I lie you not.
