Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- JJJeff2 days ago3.0It's your average fast food, albeit tasty -- and real meat apparently. But this location was particularly bad on our visit because it just opened. Prolly a mixture of new employees and unfamiliar processes. We ordered three sandwiches; two of them came without buns... just plastic bowls with meat in them. Also typical of this scenario were empty napkin dispensers, full garbage cans and crumbles ridden tables. The self-serve kiosk wasn't working as well. Otherwise, cleanish and new and 4000K bright. Loved it. 🤔

- KWKathy WiseSep 30, 20261.0We went for lunch. The two of us spent $20 with nothing to drink. We got the order to go. I ordered a jr double cheese double burger with no onions. I got zero cheese! The tomato slices you could see through and the pickles were not good. My onion ring box was barely full. The other order was a whataburger. It wasn’t that great. At least they didn’t put cheese on it which what was wanted. The fry bag wasn’t full either. We definitely won’t be going back there again! No better than McDonald’s! At least they don’t mess up that much. We will stay with Culver’s! So much better!
- CKCharles KrausSep 27, 20261.0Went in on Sunday, September 27 approximately 9 o’clock not a single person in the restaurant stood at the counter. I’d say close to five minutes 5 to 6 minutes. Three people walked by me didn’t say a single word man went into the back. I ended up leaving. I grew up in San Antonio. Been eating Whataburger over 50 years and ever since they sold out in 2019 they’ve gone straight downhill. This was ridiculous. I’m at the highway 70 store in Hickory North North Carolina.
