Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- MBMeckenzie Behling5 days ago2.0Short line at 1pm on a Monday. Clean with good service but...if it weren't for the mustard and bacon the sandwich would have had zero flavor. Usually when im starving anything tastes good but this was not the case. Honestly the burger patty tasted like school lunch burgers with less flavor. Oh and too much salt on the fries.

But as for the fries and the onion rings were very tasty. The service was not the best either. When our food came to the table my husband asked for some mayonnaise and we never got it.

- CCCornbreadAug 9, 20261.0Really Really disappointing. Just left here, 2:30 8/9/2026. Made a large order, inside seating. The burgers came so messed up and cold. The cheese wasn't melted at all or didnt ever melt while eating. The tomatoes, lettuce and what not were just dumped onto the burgers. Had to take apart the burger just to arrange the toppings so they were spread across the burger instead of all on one side. I love Whataburger and grew up in Corpus Christi Texas. Really dissapointing this is what goes for a Whataburger around here.
