- SSStephanieJul 1, 20261.0I had a very concerning experience with this Chipotle location. I ordered a chicken bowl and brought it home. About halfway through eating, I noticed something strange in my food. When I pulled it apart, I found a piece of plastic cooked into my meal (as shown in the attached photo). I immediately stopped eating and called the store to speak with a manager. A woman answered and said she was the manager. I explained what happened, and while she apologized, her response was extremely concerning. She said, “It’s plastic from the tortilla bag they open the bag in there,” and offered me a free meal. That response was alarming. Finding plastic cooked into food is a serious food safety issue, and the manager acted like it was no big deal as if this had happened before. Offering a free meal doesn’t address the seriousness of the situation. Customers deserve safe food and better handling of serious concerns like this. Please be careful.

Between her and I, we told the worker 4 or 5 times not to put the toppings on that burrito, it was mine, not hers. They still put the toppings on my burrito and then the woman told the worker again. The worker scraped off part of the toppings, finished the woman's order, and then continued to make my burrito (with partially scraped off toppings mind you) even after I said something about it. Whatever, I'm obviously not getting a new burrito so I'll make the best of it. Got home about 5 minutes later to eat my burrito, and the entire thing was cold. Like, cold rice, cold chicken, cold tortilla, etc. as if they hadn't been keeping the trays the warm items are in actually warm. Overall just a really lame experience today and I'm bummed out about my burrito.

Theres not a big menu to chose from and they don't tell you when your chosing the topping that some things cost extra. My 10$ burrito ended up costing 16. The place was busy and all the tables were dirty the soda machines had spills and wrappers everywhere. I will go again but at the location in my town and not get asvocado or steak on my burrito.
