  Me and my fiancée went for a cake tasting on the 25th. Let me start off with the cake wasn’t even that good it was a little on the dry side. When we were doing the cake tasting we were explaining to the baker that we would probably stick to one flavor which would be vanilla. We told her we wanted to do that because we were already venturing off from the traditional cake. We are both Hispanic. She proceeded to say “ what tres leches, this is America they need to move pass that” at that point when she said that we already know she wasn’t the person we wanted to do business with. That is very ugly of her to say to anyone no matter if it was a joke or not she did not laugh when she said that. If you want a wedding cake definitely go elsewhere.

  Honestly the best pork chop I’ve ever had. We came in late right at closing and the staff wasnt cranky. Good service and good food.

  10/1/2026, we had a group of 3 for lunch. We had a wait to order and it took awhile to get our food. As everything is made fresh, no problem. My bacon burger was really delicious. Fresh bun and great toppings. I knocked off a star on the food as my fries were very cool. When I mentioned it there didn't seem to be any concerns. Just saying. Comment if your fries are cool.

  Way too steep price-wise for the sandwiches you get. The bread was hard, even the club sandwich felt under filled and a bit sad. Taste was meh. You can get more bang for your buck multiple other places in downtown Hendersonville for good sandwiches. If I’m paying $16+ for a sandwich, I don’t want to be able to easily make a better one at home. The bread pudding also was dry and tasted several days old. Inside was visually stimulating & the boozy shake was good. But otherwise, I think a “one and done” is sufficient for this place. Saw it once, cool but underwhelming, not returning.

  The Baker's box is a awesome place that has a Star Wars theme inside. I've been looking to do a food challenge and found out that the Baker's box has one. It is called the Kessel run challenge. You have 45 minutes to complete it It has 3 pounds of meat 1 pound of ham 1 pound of Turkey and 1 pound of their house cooked Roast Beef. It also has 12 slices of cheese 4 slices each of cheddar, Swiss, provolone The toppings are lettuce and locally grown tomatoes and butter pickles with a spicy Creole mustard The bread Oversized freshly bake hollow Challah bun weighing over 1 pound. Overall it's about 5 and a half pounds if you complete it the sandwich is free and you get a awesome tee shirt and your picture on the wall of fame as well as bragging rights if not the sandwich is $50. I figured I would try this challenge It was a awesome sandwich everything was delicious the owner George was awesome as well he came out and talked to me and my family you also should let them know a few days before if you are up to this challenge I would highly recommend it I was able to complete It. But if you're not into a challenge they have plenty of other food on their menu. My family also had Dinner here. They have some delicious Burgers and wraps My wife had the Roast Beef Panini and My son had the cheese bacon burger everyone loved their meals. The place was very clean and organize. They have many tables that you could sit at You order your food at the counter then you fnd a tablet . When it's ready they bring it to you. I also have peanut butter pie to top off my victory it was very good as well. George and Mara his wife are owners. They also specialized in pastries and desserts As well. I would recommend if you're in the area give it try.
