  My family and I were visiting from out of town. We Came to Hendersonville for apple picking and fall festivities and came to mezzaluna from a recommendation from a friend. We were told by the hostess at the front desk that we can take a seat outside and a someone would be out to service. We waited for over 25 minutes and nobody came to see us, although many servers came out to check on other guests. I finally went in to tell someone that we have been sitting for over 25 minutes and finally someone came out to take our order. By that time we already knew what we wanted to eat so we ordered all of our appetizers and entrees at once. The food came out surprisingly quick but we were not given any silverware/ cutlery which we had to ask for. We were sitting outside and there was a car idling the whole time so it smelled like gas. The food was decent and our waiter was pleasant but it seems as if they lack the proper system to be aware of who needs to be served. We asked for a to-go box and they forgot to bring it so we just got up and left. From reading other reviews, it seems as if their lack of attention to their guest is consistent. We only read the reviews after sitting for so long 😂

  We scheduled take out over an hour in advance. We had to wait 20 minutes for it. Lasagna was great, bread with pesto flavored butter was delicious, but my chicken marsala tasted like chicken with gravy, I couldn't taste any Marsala.

  My friends and I came to town for a long weekend getaway, and this restaurant was recommended to us from a local. We were not disappointed. I got the chicken pesto sandwich, and my friends got the pizza (best pizza she ever had), and my other friend got the trout. We all loved our meals. Prices were agreeable, and the service was great.

  Food was good. Service was horrible. In their defense a group of children on a field trip entered the restaurants just ahead of us. Many people left in light of this development. Food was warm not hot. Bread, salad, and entrees were all served at once vs. being paced. Pizza was half-cooked, but ok. Rolls w pesto butter were good. Meatballs were tasty. Spaghetti sauce was mediocre vs. what one would expect from an authentic Italian restaurant. Would visit again, but overall experience was “ok.”

  La comida es rica, el servicio al cliente es normal nada que resaltar y el ambiente es de un restaurante normal. Cosas a destacar, la comida me pareció económica y buena. Espere como 20 minutos una mesa pero fue debido a que fui en el dia del festival de manzanas🍎.
