Receipts donât lie. Ray and I voted for the T-bones. Our teenage boys? Completely loyal to the ribeyes like it was a full-blown love story. Verdict: The T-bones had more flavor. The ribeyes were more tender. All cooked the same way. This wasnât supposed to turn into a âsmall fortuneâ kind of grocery runâwe were just cooking for tonight and tomorrow since Ray and I have an anniversary dinner planned. Now I will say thisâFood Lionâs bakery showed up. That cake? Worth the trip. But the ribeyes? Not worth the price difference. If Piggly Wiggly hadnât been out of stock, I wouldâve bought everything there without a second thought. Also worth noting: EveryoneâRay and the boys includedâchose my homemade mashed potatoes đĽ over everything on the plate. Priorities.
