Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Food really isn’t that bad, I personally like it, but this particular location is full of liars, showed up around 4:30, coming home early from a trip. Told me it was going to be a 30 minute wait, so being so tired I just pulled off and waited 30 minutes, just to come back to her telling me it was gonna be 30 minutes like I hadn’t been there 30 minutes ago being told the same thing. The food is ight but it ain’t worth the disrespect and ignorance the place comes with.

- THTravis HolcombJun 21, 20262.0It had been open a couple months so I go. I go inside and order a burger combo. I wait a while and got my order. I get back in the car and no fries. I walk back inside and say “I didn’t get my fries”. The guy wants to argue with me about no fries. I walk back to the car and grab the bag to show him no fries. I turn back and he’s following me to the car. I show him inside the bag and he still wants to argue with me. I open all the doors and console and glove box and say “ I DIDN’T GET MY FRIES GO ASK WHOEVER PUT THE STUFF IN THE BAG”. We go back in and he finally brings my fries. I’m a middle age clean guy with a nice car and I’m not stealing a French fry. 🙄

It was strange to see that the employees use a fingerprint scanner on the register, especially since the employee who helped us jumped on the register after another employee scanned her onto the register. Atmosphere was definitely off and unwelcoming.
